@MasterRedAssassin tenchu time of the assassins. no one seems to bother make a trainer or hacking for this one as they do the rest of tenchu series, like skin change and moves swap

@AniRacmaniah Ive attempted to hack this with PPSSPP in the past. I could try again since my knowledge has increased but I can imagine a lot of people get put off because the PSP memory is not static with PPSSPP so cheat engine table results are not valid the next time it loads. There's is a potential solution of registering an array of bytes as a symbol so I'll look into it

i was using an old nightly build from early 2024, download the table again as ive fixed them. its really bizarre but the newer nightly builds shift ps2 ram around with shinobido

@dean-fk4tr pnachfiles are possible yes but are pretty limited compared to a cheat engine table

@dean-fk4tr sadly the codes in this table are not entirely accurate to other emulators as pcsx2 nightly shifts the ps2 ram slightly with shinobido, but what i do know works. you do is grab the pointer offset off the table, for example. 0629FFC is the offset for hideout player add a 2 to it just before . open notepad up in windows. very first line write ' patch=1,EE, 20629FFC,extended,00000001' and then do save as '96CE136B.pnach' and in theory it will always make the hideout player kinu on aethesx2 or what ever emulator uses the pnach

There are fews characters we need to learn there moveset button. I still do not know how to make Usuba do a Flipback kunai same as NPC. You could do some videos about each characters moveset and share it on your channel.

@tuongnguyenhuynh901 i know how to do that combos you mean because i played all Shinobido games and in Shinobido Takumi you can use more characters in mission editor.. i think you mean sideflip with a kunai , if yes so this combo you can do it by press X button with left or right ( L-analog ) also you can do that in Shinobido psp i think 🤔 i can't remember but i can make a video as you said , especially my channel have many videos of Goh and kinu hidden combos haha 😂 so this will be a playlist of combos lol

@@Weilunlimsg bro i just was playing Shinobido psp the combos is different in psp !! I mean Usuba combos i remember it is X button ✅ . . But many things is different in psp , for example the clones just look not fight like ps2

The clones in this mod is super imba bro, she have so much HP and even can make another shadow clones and fighting like a real Usuba. The only thing i can’t do is the flipback technique she jump back and throw triple kunai at the same time.

Yeah i know there are fews modder also modding shinobido but they keep it for many years and never share to the community. Finally Tesfalane come and work into it, and share it to us. Really appreciated him tbh.

make sure cheat engine is hooked to the process, it can be hit and miss but keep trying and it will work, and your welcome, had a few requests to hack shinobido lol

I tried many times, the only part work ís the hide out which i can manage to change the moneys and Goh attack Power and Goh HP. But when it come to Change Model it still not working. I’m using cheat engine 7.5, and also pcsx 2.0 without updates. Still not figure it out to make it working. Thanks @MasterRedAssassin.

You need to make sure cheat engine is connected to the retroarch process and you are using the psx beetle core otherwise you get question marks

@@MasterRedAssassin Well, it's not that retroarch isn't valid, but it's very complicate, that's for certain. Emulators like epsxe, pcsx2 etc are easier becouse they're more direct. Anyway, if i could suggest something, you should explain somewhere the steps to take for configurate the table in the correct way. So far i've been able to make work the onikage's animations only in the stages where they're loaded (3,6,9,10) in the others if i swap the mots characters stays frozen in place...

@@JCCorso the sample table purpose was only really for those stages where he is loaded so you are using it correctly. sadly its a limitation of how tenchu was coded as the engine can only load 3 moveset files at once when id love to have it load them all at once. but you can string swap to brute force the game to load onikage on the other stages. this does come at a cost tho as forcing onikage to load on unintended stages causes other NPC's to break and resulting in them having missing moves/standing in place. there is a 2nd option where you can have all the other npc's work and onikage but it will requires deloading the main character so you cant really create an onikage hybrid that can use the grappling hook, crouch, swim ect as parts of these animations are tied to the main character file. If you search for the string RIKIMARU.AMD or AYAME.AMD and rename them to STAGE8.AMD , it will replace the main characters to have onikage all the time with the working npc's. i will prob make another video/ update the sample table with string swapping added when i get some spare time after xmas

I've had a little session of hacking shinobido but had no luck changing the map editor size sadly

@MasterRedAssassin so .. can you unlock all characters? it is 1 thing if you can do it that make all missions in mission editor = 100% so the characters will unlocked 🔓 . after that if you do it so you can save the game from options in the game play list ( inside the game ) so even you open the game without cheat engine after that so they will still unlocked 😉🔥 .

You wish a mod that can select characters in the mission editor like in Takumi? That's impossible. That feature doesn't exist in WOTN, even with the power of hacking and CE (Cheat Engine). No matter how powerful the level of modification is, it cannot be undone. Even Lord Geese and Shadow Runner can't do that

​@@sk8er_rk76yes, I understand what you're thinking. That would be great and all, having to unlock characters instantly like in Takumi, so we can play them without hacking. But that's just impossible, I'm telling you. Because the feature simply doesn't exist in the game, only in Takumi. Even the power of modding has its limits, it can't change what's already been done by the developers

@@HuntingRedLeaves i think the only real alternative way to play as all the other characters in the mission editor/ have them 'unlocked' is just swap the character templates for the main and npc characters in the table i provided. If we could see the sourecode then we would be able to achieve more. Luckily some of the tenchu knowledge helped from its sourcecode but i found shinobio hacking for otherstuff quite challenging

its sort of possible yes, ive tried making tenchu 2 co-op with cheat engine but the tricks to do it cause the game to crash alot, will have another attempt at it since ive learnt a few new things from all this research!

so sadly not. just press shift+w after the stage is loaded to keep it in singleplayer camera mode camera , the camera code for toggling the screen also tells the engine in the main menu to load the game in multiplayer mode, a pnach file is indeed possible with a hotkey trigger but ive been reluctant to do one as it will force the game to always run in singleplayer mode after enabled . you will be unable to pause and after the stage ends if you chose another stage it will just boot up singleplayer mode entirely unless manually turned back off

well we can always swap the stage.amd string to rikimaru/ayame.amd for an unoffical versus till you get the pc port out? :P

yeah it can be done. i might just have to release a cheat table as i dont have the technical knowhow to do it with a trainer yet

sadly its not possible in a playable state/or i do not know how to do it for other stages . i did experiment with the ronin village as ayame and having the rikimaru boss be the 2nd player . rikimaru played with tank controls like tenchu 1, could not stealth kill, could not use the hole or any items and caused several crashes!
