Hi Lucy! I love your video. How about adding "necessarily" to your list?

Veterinary.
90% will say vetrany.

Suddenly I forgot how to pronounce these words and my tongue won't even cooperate😭
🤣🤣
😂😂
Ye.she ie pretty.
Ye.she is pretty.
😂😂😂
I love her British pronunciation
If i had such a beautiful english teacher i wound have became an English scholar in Oxford by now
Teaching is a born technique, not every teacher is usually gifted with! Miss Lucy has been gifted with all such great qualities.. 👍 live long 🎉
‘Rarely' almost sounds like ‘really'
sorry, but ... no, it doesn't, not really... 😉👍
Rally?
Come to the rhotic part of the English language, we don't care for post vocalic r-lessness
There is a slight movement of the tong up on the second r. No room for mistake! )))

I really enjoy these pronounciation shorts! Please keep them coming 😁❤️
Mee too 💝
Same
As a french, i'm used to silent letters, but less when it's in the middle of a word.
Perfect enunciation and elocution! Great Job to the gorgeous linguist!
I live in South Africa where we basically speak British English with a local flavour. I don't know if my pronunciation is typical, but I usually do pronounce the second 'r' in rarely and with 'temporarily' I would say 'temprarily'.
I always pronounce senond R in rarely and regularly
The reason why it is easier to understand non native English speakers
Beautiful teacher beautiful pronouncer and great person one would appreciate her work, always.
Super words ending in-ly: best way to get to the correct pronunciation of the super words.
She's gorgeous
ayo
No shit, Sherlock. 😂
Chamdee.😂
Except for the lateral lisp.
😂😂hai yrr
American here. We definitely do pronounce the 2nd "r" in "rarely." The way she said it is just a British thing.
British English is non-rhotic, so in many cases R is not pronounced
Thank you, I was indeed bit confused. I'm German and I took part in a school exchange with a US school many years ago. That's when I learned American pronunciation 😅
Scottish here. It's an English thing really. Specifically, whatever regional accent she has.
Yeach...
American English is different from British English we all know that.
I think I can benefit a lot from your videos.
Thank you very much for everything you do for us.
I can listen to her all day long
I LOVE THIS WONDERFUL ENGLISH TEACHER IS UNIQUE ❤
I thought I was pronouncing it properly until beautiful Lucy distinguished the correct pronunciation of British or American accent.
“Let me show you how to pronounce these words”
Immediately, “LITCHRULLY” 😂
Since I have been following your channel for a long time now, I got all the pronunciations right ma'am
Thank you Lucy! Great as usual
I am now realizing how carelessly I pronounce words
In school I had a teacher who pronounced "really" like "rarely". It was interested when he told us we must "rarely do your homework" 😂
I like this approach Teacher Lucy
i pronounce all at 100% because i watch you every day sweet Lucy
All of them
I watched your every videos when I was 10 but now I'm 21 years old. Thank you very much , mrs.lucy Bella simkins.
but she has only posted for 6 years..
Your quite the liar
I really like her pronunciation ❤
thanks our teacher
All , thank u for the videos u upload, I can really learn the pronunciation ☺️
Sincerly I find this word - SINCERLY - super hard... along with these others too... (I noticed my pronouce was more US then UK... )
Happy to see you again. Always so beautiful.
I was so expectant that i would hear the word "thoroughly"!
When people use ly with almost every word possible lol😂
We use it to create adverbs. Example: if something happens not often (it is rare), you can say it happens rarely.
@@deadmemelol Adverbs not adjectives
@@drakephysecron6775 my bad haha, fixed
I don't even think I pronounce the word *'English'* correctly in English anymore
The way of teaching is effectively
Thank you for the great videos! ❤
most of us quite rarely use "temporarily"... usually we literally use regularly, particularly commonly we'd correctly say "popularly"... 😉👍💥💪
evidently it is a really good video and importantly it is edited interestingly enough... 😁
Yes sounds great, …to hear your voice and see your beauty, thanks love 🌹❤️
Piece of cake, Lucy!
i play this to my baby, so when time they now to speak they flawlessly speak english
You read my mind I was looking for some of these words Today hahaha
All after watching it for a second time
do one with insanely long words, like for example, “Indistinguishable” “Incomprehensibilities” “Surreptitious” etc
Watching this just made me notice how much I slur my vowels together as an American English speaker
You don’t know the word “Literally” until you’ve heard a Valley girl from Southern California say it! 😂😂
Nope I knew it before her!
She is Marina Mogilko and that's her another channel which is " Silicon Valley girl"
and her third Channel is " Lingua Marina"
I have to listen to you with my eyes closed. If I open my eyes, my listening goes away.
Hahaha,....Meaning you hear voices ftom your eyes,right?...(I'm kidding,bro/sist)🙏🙏👌👌😊😊
I can see how you can concentrate better depriving yourself of the distracting visuals.
However, it isn't sustainable so I suggest practising ur listening while watching the imagery too.
I just love you!! Thanks so much for helping all of us improving our English skills and improving our British accent. ❤
I really want pronunciation of "regularly" and "rarely". I appreciated teaching it!
She is actually good at english but all people can have different acents and we need to respect for all people"s
It's RP modern accent, it's more clear n sounds better
2...
"shame on myself later" 😢
Same don't worry
Don't need to, people make mistakes, you just gotta learn from them.
Asthma, antisethis ,isthmus and plain old Wimbledon stumps a number of continentals too.
She's giving the distinctively British pronunciation for several of these words. Americans generally pronounce the "e" in "literally" and the "r" in "rarely".
Am I doing well teacher ?
Please let me know.
you deserve million likes
Nice wonderful teaching
“Specifically “, “superficially “
I say usually like “yuj-oo-ah-ly”
Thank you Lucy.
Thanks teacher.
Your programme is kind of good for us the islanders
U r beauty of English i appreciate ❤️
Also in American we say "literally" as lit-er-a-ly. Definitely pronounce the "e" on the second syllable.
Awesome teaching thanks alot dia
“Oh I know it it’s rehr-lee”
“RALLY”
All of them. I amaze myself at times 😅
Thanks for teaching and smiling.
I didn’t know that we don’t pronounce the second R of the word “rarely”. Thank you.
Beautifully said my lady
I pronounced all correct with my speaking skills
Thanks for being a great teacher of English mam 🙌✨️
All correct Lucy!
Sounds versatile
I had two mistakes. I pronounced second "r "in "rarely" and wrong accent in "temporarily".
In the US most of us pronounce "rarely" exactly as it's spelled, with both R sounds.
Me the native English speaker absolutely SMASHED IT
Necessarily is the most difficult of them all 😂
Thanks very much .
Thanks
Aside from usually ... All of them!! Thanks to you dear
