HarmonicDyne x Z Reviews: Eris. After several months of heavy use I talk about how I feel about Eris, just my opinion of these bass monster headphones. And they are fun!!! and that's pretty much it.
Oh jeez, I totally forgot to talk about Stage Mode Vs. Focus Mode. Focus Mode is wearing them in their normal orientation, right on right ear, left on left ear, this is my preferred way. It just sounds normal to me. That said, Stage Mode is literally just turning the headphone around and wearing them backwards. Due to the angled drivers the sounds is effectively coming from behind your ears, this ends up having the result of an even bigger soundstage as well as reduced highs, especially in the sibilance region. If this is the preferred mode then a simple left and right cable connection swap with fixed the left and right channels. It's a free option to wear them backwards and see if you like it, so you might as well try.

I was amazed at the sound during the Deadpool Vs Wolverine Like a Prayer battle scene and the Eris sounded exactly like the theater. This is the only headphone that I have heard that sounds like you remember the movie. Very Unique and Fun. Wear them backwards and reverse the left and right cable plugs. It's sorta like 2 wrongs equaling a right.

I did actually watch Deadpool and Wolverine with Eris and it was legit great, it feels the least like wearing headphones, out of all my headphones for movies.
