Don't feel bad Crystallace, but your vids caused me to weigh expectations and rethink law school. I'm a physical therapist and I got a 154 on June LSAT Flex and know that as a URM with a master's this could get me into some tier three schools, but looking at salaries post law school, I'm opting to continue to advance in my profession, explore business ideas in my field and when those come into being (gotta be positive here), I will explore legal education. I'm still young, don't need to rush anything! That way I can go to law school full-time and get the full experience instead of struggling to do so part time!

I really appreciate this video! I was thinking of applying to this internship for my 2L and 3L that requires 30 hours a week and you gave me some insight on whether or not that’s even possible

Thank you so much for this video. I literally just exhaled a deep breath I didn't know I was holding in until after I watched this video. Quick question-- were you working as a server during your 1L as well?

I was! 1L year, second semester. Just a few hours a week but I had to quit as I got closer to finals. I started again in the summer

I really appreciate this video! I have been thinking about whether I should go to law school full time or part time due to me having bills and responsibilities lol I worked in the restaurant industry for 4 years in undergrad and grew to hate it but may have to consider it for law school. We’re you able to keep up with your bills working as a sever?

Yes, I went to school in Atlanta and rent is high. I had a roomate so I was able to pay rent and bills with my refund check. I had no car note and lived humbly. My cash I got from serving allowed me to have cash in my pocket. This paid for nights out, fast food, starbucks, makeup etc. For me, not having to swipe my card all the time kept me frugal.

Advice on living alone while attending law school? How can I pay my rent but go to school full time? I have money saved but how do I finance a year not working full time?

I tried that and it made life harder than it needed to be financially. Needless to say it didn't last long. I ended up moving in with a classmate during my second semester and we both had a huge financial relief. More time to study, network, and mentally relax instead of extreme budgeting and worrying about money. Best decision ever!!!!
