I first saw Adrian’s fish room in your channel and then later in Nick’s. Great that all of you now have bonded very well. All the best from me in Malaysia
*_Many people think 'Breeding Fish' sounds deadly boring.... but to other fish people it is exciting._* Adrian has a great setup and it's nice to have family involved. His property and it's location looks amazing. So different from an urban setting. Just being outside breathing the fresh forest air would make for a better day all around. He has so many different 'projects' and 'hobbies' it is hard to see where one ends and another starts. I had a roommate once who own the biggest tropical fish store in our town. We always had very rare, expensive, and interesting fish in our home. Feeding some of the larger species like the 18 inch Albino Arowana was always an adventure. He had people from all over come to his store to look at his giant 25 year old Piranha, all 16 inches of it. The business offered full service tropical fish both fresh water and salt. They made custom tanks and stands for customers with particular challenging requirements. Also, a great number of commercial clients; doctors, dentists, etc offering custom setups and full maintenance. I was a photographer and was helping him build a brag book with lots of photos. At one of his most prestigious client's business I setup my lights and cameras and went to work. I ran out of light stands so I laid a photo-light and fixture on top of the glass top cover. Heat from the light caused the glass top to shatter.... glass fell into tank along with an electrified light fixture. Poor fish didn't stand a chance... if they survived being sliced in half from falling glass, the wall socket electricity was less selective. The good stuff was in the back where breeding took place. His whole family was involved in the business. His parents started it over 25 years earlier. They retired and sold the shop. New owners moved to new location. There is a Bank sitting where the tropical fish store once stood for so long. *_Although the fish store is gone, the memories will last for an entire lifetime._*
Oh my goodness!! What an incredible story, thank you so much for sharing it Steven. I can't believe the light cracked the glass, I would never have expected that... I'm so sorry you, the owner and the poor fish had to go through that 😬 It sounds like you got to see some amazing things though
@@Kaityscichlids Thank you for comments. Old School Photo lights get really hot, but never occurred to my friend or myself glass would break. We cleaned up the mess, went to shop got new tank top and fish, spent hours making everything right. Owner was very understanding - thank goodness. I completely forgot about it. Watching your videos on fish triggered memory. Regular people think fish breeding is boring, well not me. I am a fish person.
You could see that he's really enjoying himself and you could also see how he's enthusiastically sharing his passion for this hobby to others, I also bet he's a great uncle..
Happy New Year to you too!! 🎉🎊🎆 Thank you so much 😊 And yes I can't believe it!! I wasn't even sure I would make it to 10k subs for the New Year so it has been a lovely surprise to see the channel growth 😄
@@Kaityscichlids Yes, it really has an oasis of nature there. And of course the highlight is the fish, I really appreciate fish. I'm also discovering more about Australia, a fantastic country. I'm waiting for more videos.🎆
He is such a cool guy! What an amazing property. I didn't realise he had more ponds plus bees and birds etc. Glad he got a net for the gold fish ponds eek... that kookaburra! The fish room always looks great... I really want another tank now.
He certainly is!! It's astounding what he has created, he has done a fantastic job upkeeping it all. I think AB is evidence you can never have enough tanks 🤣
@@Kaityscichlids is it New Year's Eve there now? Happy New Year Kaity! Thanks for all your videos in 2022! I truly enjoyed every one! I look forward to 2023, and I hope you have a wonderful year! 🤩😁🍾🥂
@@shadygrady81 it is! It's 3:30 in the afternoon of New Year's Eve here at the moment. Thank you so much for all of your support this year, I have truly appreciated it so much ❤️
Adrian has an awesome setup and his fish room is amazing. I can sympathize with the Kookaburra eating his goldfish. We have had kingfishers dive bomb our goldfish and then perching on the next door neighbour's roof and bashing the goldfish on the gutter before eating it. It's a sound that you can never forget or want to hear.
What an amazing place Adrian has and how creative he has been with all his animal enclosures and fish tanks. What a great place to live, surrounded by nature. Thanks for this footage and Happy New Year to you!
I'd love to know more about the engineering . . .did Adrian make his on tanks? What is the filtration like? How many acres is he on? What sort of forest? What challenges?
I’ve away wanted to raise honey bees 🐝 on my property. I have lots of fruit trees tangerine orange lemon apricot nectarine that they could pollinate. We do have a vineyard also. The only downside is they would eat the stone fruit and grapes
Nice video tour I like Adrian's property tell all them and Nick and you. Happy New Year
Thank you so much James 😊 Happy New Year to you too! 🎉🎊🎆
Please pass on to Adrian that the fans would love him to have a TH-cam channel. His fish room is one of the best I've seen.
It's fabulous isn't it! I will pass it onto him 😊 So far it's just his Instagram Adrians_Fishroom
