Having a nourishing breakfast will definitely help you. Having meals throughout the day keeps your blood sugar levels from spiking and also help with lowering cortisol (stress levels) which usually happens when you skip a meal (especially breakfast). I've stopped drinking lemon water or even matcha first thing in the morning and actually eat food (drinking matcha/coffee AFTER breakfast though) and it's helped a lot with digestion. I've gotten from painful bloating daily to absolutely no bloating at all even if I eat junk food in moderation (avoiding seed oils on the daily usually). I'm still dealing with a lot, which is the usual when you have PCOS but regulating the blood sugar helps A LOT and eating meals every three to four hours daily definitely helped immensely on that.

Love your PCOS/hormone content ❤ It’s lovely to see you so content with food/health. I get so stressed about PCOS, working to heal myself though 👍 Love you!

Do you have any tips to quit caffeine? I’ve tried stopping it and drinking matcha instead but I literally have no energy without my coffee 😢

Try raising your chair at your desk to help with neck/shoulder pain. You're reaching up and over to type and your elbows should be at your side. Instead you could get a separate keyboard to keep the raised monitor/laptop while keeping your arms next to you to type. I had to have an ergonomic coach help out with my desk situation. Hope that helps!

This was such a helpful video, thank you for sharing your experience and what worked for you. May I ask, do you recommend matcha in healing hormones and getting your cycle back for someone that doesn’t drink caffeine at all? Do you advise against snacking then? There’s so much out their saying that it can keep blood sugars and metabolism stable? Do you think a plant based cycle can help get your cycle back too? Also do you have any helpful resources you’d recommend in getting your cycle back and balancing your hormones? I’ve heard In The Flo is a good book but not sure of others? Xx

Forgot to mention, what’s your advice on eating something before working out? Say if you prefer working out first thing in the morning? Xx

SNacking is often really really helpful in period recovery as it allows the body to trust that there is enough fuel to function properly and have a healthy cycle. Same with eating something before working out, especially in the morning. Training fasted is stressful on the body and not that calorie burn should be the focus but exercising with no fuel in the mornings can make you burn less calories during the day! So find some good foods you enjoy and find work well for you to have before working out xx@@orang1414

Did you used to be vegan? If so, can you talk about how you made the switch back to eating meat? I’m vegetarian and I want to start eating meat again, but I’m scared/grossed out and don’t know where to start 😢

Thank you for sharing! I’ve been told that I may have PCOS (hormones suggest I do, ultrasound doesn’t show any abnormalities) and I’ve been on birth control for 7 years and have just come off 6 months post pill and my cycles have been somewhere between 60 and 80 days in length which isn’t ideal when I’m trying to conceive! Going to adopt some of these methods thanks again

No cysts are required for a PCOS diagnosis - look at the PCOS Rotterdam diagnosis criteria :) It’s two needed out of the three:
      - irregular periods
      - cysts
or high androgens / clinical signs of hyperandrogegism (facial hair, hair loss etc)

please do a clothing/lookbook or whatever it is called haha. i love your outfits! i am not sure if you are like me, but i have a long torso and shorter leg length, and ive been trying to accept it kind of more and show it off by wearing low waist pants, which are truly more comfortable than high waisted in my opinion! i notice you wear a lot of low waisted stuff and i love it! please do something more clothing related!

@@orang1414 truthfully I was exercising just how she was in the past 5-6x a week heavy lifting and it just put alot of stress on my body, so now I only weightlift 1-2x a week and I incorporated walking and 1x a week Pilates. Also I was trying to cut weight and was in a calorie deficit, so it put a severe strain on me mentally and physically to do both of those things. I think abandoning my deficit for a little and focusing on Whole Foods and not so much processed foods helped me balance out my appetite and relationship with food. Also not restricting myself so heavily. Also getting good sleep! I feel like that helped me tons especially with my stress and skin :)
