- A Pikes Peak V4 with just a few added extras totalling at just under £10k, the bike is fantastic standard (check out my other videos not he pikes peak) ,usual going ons and we got sent a package!! hope you enjoyed the video

With only 500km on it to date, I cant wait to reach the first 1k for its first oil change and installation of the full Akrapovic system.... @@ProjectMoto not ridden the Multi V4s yet, but definitely on the cards for my next service, I've been avoiding it because it always seems to me as a gentlemen bike with balls, but after completing my wheelie course, I think I'm ready for it now lol.

Great video. Than you. I think I’m about 8 or 9K USD into my Pikes Peak. I have the full exhaust but yea 4K for the dry clutch not counting tax and labor is where I draw the line
To bad because it’s so much because I love it. Of course I’m old and I think all Ducati’s should have dry clutches. 1500 dollar services at 6000 miles though, I’m glad they are a thing of the past
Thanks, nice , I definitely think the exhaust is the best accessory to add to the V4 Multistrada if your going to put any on, makes a great difference to the bike, and yeah the dry clutch is expensive but it does look cool and like yourself and a lot of other Ducati owners they like the dry clutch sound on their bikes, but you do have to think of the cost..yeah the service intervals are so much better on the new V4

Currently in Brisbane Australia now visiting my daughter,…. I can confirm Tim-Tam’s are bloody addictive 😋 once you’ve finished those packets you’ll have withdrawal symptoms 🥵🥵!

P.S. No Multistrada is worth £35 grand 😳😳,…in a couple of years time it’ll be a £12 grand bike 🤷🏻♂️
Ha we already got withdrawal symptoms.. they didn’t hang around long 😂😂 tbh if your looking for future value then accessorising a bike is not the thing to do, will be more appealing if the right parts on on it and will have a little more value.. but not what you spent originally.. as for the value this is a Ducati , and a Pikes Peak so the price does not drop off like other manufacturers, they are actually still worth something after a few years and I think these in particular will be good.. and yeah but as with Paul , he’s priceless :)
@@ProjectMoto I’ve got a few bikes back in the UK, one being a 2014 899 Panigale I’ve owned from new, it’s now got BST carbon wheels
and a K-Tech dds pro shock, and loads of carbon on, it’s a fantastic ride now and I just can’t bring myself to part with it, I’ve done 28,000 miles on it and loved every one,…all bikes depreciate, my 899 will be worth buttons due to its mileage, but that’s not a problem, when I’m done with riding it , I’ll drain the oil and petrol out and polish the shit out of it and stand it in the front room and sit and laugh at all the good times I’ve had on it,…..problem solved 😂😂

Awesome, they do sound better, especially when your on the throttle on the move.. it really lets the engine breath as well, they are not too loud either for when your just riding around normally either, how are you getting on with it .. it’s awesome even when yr running it in :)
does the pikes peak have a steering damper ?

Well the bikes comes with all them parts as standard, he has just changed them all to different ones.. personally I would change the exhaust and that would be enough

yeah it has to be mapped, didn't show the full instal as i have done a full system on a v4 Multistrada before and the fact Paul took a while to do it all as he had other things to do.. we will have a ride video on the Pikes peak with the full system soon though :)

Thanks.. tbh I don’t know exactly , it was on the bench a while as Paul was doing other things in between but would take a couple of days I guess?? I will try to find out, you can always contact these guys at Ducati Chelmsford about the leathers .. just depends on where you are.. where are you ?

Is it using the same rims and clutch cover as the panigale v4？ because I am trying to order carbon rims and red db clutch cover for my pp coming in a few months
Will check out about the wheels ,I’m pretty sure it is but I will find out for you for the same clutch cover as the half carbon one was the same I think , will let you know :)

@@rayl5097 hi yeah it’s the can and the middle section .. so really it’s a kind of half system , … but I’d call it the ‘full system’ for the V4 Multistrada’s as I’m not sure they do a system with the header pipes??
Dry clutch is comfortable for touring use?
Depends how and where your wearing it 😂 yeah personally I think they are ok but that will depending on the rider and where and how you are using it I guess, but with the quick shifter personally I don’t see it being a problem

Never understood having an open cover in the UK, the ducabike clear cover seems much more sensible to me
Thanks , appreciate it, tbh some people only want a Ducati with a dry clutch , personally I don’t mind the open clutch as it look cool , but the sound for me not so much .. as for the V2 don’t know if they ever will , what would be good if they did though would be if they actually used the V2 engine from the Panigale V2 /SF B2 to make it more sporty .. rather then the current 937 engine the use in the Multistrada V2

We are all so different that what one finds comfy another won’t , but for me it is for a sports bike, handles bars and positioning just works for me.. as for in traffic the only problem is the heat , again for some people

Just curious why people choose a dry clutch over a wet clutch on a bike like this? I love the sound --- but I'm just not sure why.
Really on a road bike it’s just personal preference for the look/sound , some like it that it keeps the oil cleaner .. all different reasons really

Yeah they are an awesome bike, all the parts on the bike and prices are near the end of the video, the brakes are the Brembo callipers you can order straight from Ducati when you buy a bike , if you go to the Ducati website you can configure the bike and add all the extra parts and it will show them on the bike and the cost of of the parts too /)

Aw crap. After watching the video again and again and again today I called my dealer and ordered the dry clutch.
Per my previous comment I guess I didn’t draw a big enough line! My dealer always gives me a great discount though.

Not sure about all the extras, Akro full system, defo (take the baffles out FFS!). Oil filler cap, defo (stops wankers filling your sump with piss.)
The Akro system is a defo, personally the bikes good with the baffles in, but everyone likes different things.. where do you live that people are pissing in your oil filler cap 😂😂

It’s just a personal choice to have the top box and not panniers, to me if your not touring there’s no point in having them anyway .. I always see people riding around totally kitted out and they are only going to the cafe 😂.. personally I wouldn’t have either , just my leathers , money for fuel, a twisty road and my cigarettes for when I stop 😂
Elstupido to waste money on most of these mods on a bike that is already at the top of its class.
some people like to just change a few bits.. the dry clutch is nice and the exhaust system is a must have for me
£3500 for a clutch to make an amazing bike sound crap ha ha ha just don’t get the dry clutch thing and no way are those leavers 4 times better than a set of Evotech’s no way
Believe me some people only want a Ducati with a dry clutch..and they do look cool 😎 I wouldn’t change the standard levers myself but each to their own I guess

Could of been worse I suppose , he could of spent it on bills ..biking is his hobby , which if it’s a hobby it’s hard to put a limit on what you spend, personally the exhaust is the only thing I would change
