When I was in college, our local piper (she must've been about 13 or 14 at the time) played this tune as part of a medley.

My ancestor, John Graham of Claverhouse (I'm of Graham Montrose blood) was killed in this battle. He was pierced beneath the breastplate by the enemy's musket ball and fell dying from his horse Edit: He's a distant relative of a Montrose. I want to research more about the Graham Montrose clan as I don't know much about them. Technically it's the Graham clan but my ancestors are Montrose
First I have heard John King and love it. Hope he would play Glencoe on February 16. It was Wullie the Turd that ordered the massacre, intending to do the same with the rest of the Jacobite clans, but was stopped by public outrage and protest.
