- She was a rice farmer from Mwea in Kenya and after harvest she sold her rice in Nairobi where one day she was introduced to some people who wanted more than 1000kgs of rice worth ksh800,000, she delivered the rice as per agreement and later after a week she realized that they were con men.
After reporting the case she was told that she was one of them and she got arrested and taken to prison for 3 years.

I am totally confused here. She says that she sells 1k at 150/=. The 1,000kgs are worth 150k. How did we arrive at a figure of 800k? Also Did anybody follow up on the real conmen?

@@lucywambui6229 Even with that we cannot arrive to that figure. Even the way the thieves loaded and carried away the rice, it can't be more than 40 bags.
It's 1000 bags I guess. Probably at 8800 per bag
It means that time a kilo wasSh 80 then but now it is Sh 150..this is common sense.
