Practice the Bowline until you have it mastered, as it's widely regarded as the king of knots.       ⁠@@BackcountryGearShed. I need to Learn at least a few good ones. I knew we were in trouble when three grown men didn’t know how to tie a decent knot on a bull line for a tree we were taking down. A bunch of half grannies worked, but really sad

    Good video. Thank you. The "tail" on the bowline is way too short, though.

      I agree, especially on that first tie. I didn't really give myself enough rope to work with. That was the first time I ever tried to record myself tying a knot and it was a little awkward. I probably should have redone that part. Thank you for watching, and thank you for the feedback!
