Liz I say decorate anyway you like it’s your home! I love watching your videos! Nobody decorates exactly the same way. Your homes are beautiful!

How about something fun for the family in that long space. A shuffleboard would be fun! Or foosball table
Hi Liz. I think a bar with a small frig where you can keep cold drinks, a counter top ice maker, glasses and maybe a microwave to pop popcorn would be great to put in the narrow space. The room looks beautiful .
For that little entrance area I see a reading nook with shelves filled with your favorite reading material...a big cozy chair for reading by the window...OR...a microwave...small fridge and a popcorn machine with a cabinet for storage of snacks...popcorn...oil and bowls ect. have fun making it "your own!"

That space is perfect to make into a reading nook…make a window bench and thin bookshelves on either side filled with interesting books, nice cozy rug, build a simple room divider that you could see through but would make it feel like you are in a separate room. There are lots of possibilities, really.

The long hall by the window would make a perfect reading nook. A chair, ottoman, small table, lamp and throw.
Love the room! You could even add another table like the one with the 3 stools behind the couch for added "level". 😍
That skinny space would be perfect for a snack bar and small fridge to hold drinks!

Liz what I would give to have a room like that. I would add a small black fridge for drinks while watching your movies with a small black microwave on top for popping your popcorn. Maybe in the long area.

Very nice! Maybe, you could add a small counter to hold a Kourig, 🍷 wine rack & glasses & mugs by the back runway... Maybe, use a big, wrought iron looking gate as a backdrop... Every thing is conning together. Congratulations! Love the TV strip lights!
Everytime you decorate a place, I felt like you were putting me on a Jigsaw puzzle . Eventually, everything turns out so beautiful and worth taking a leave out for my future decorations idea.
A reading nook would be really cute in that long area.

That long wall would be great as a gallery wall, or a massive wall hanging, maybe tapestry, or your decorative door leaning there would be good.
It’s a beautiful, relaxing room. I like moody rooms in the evenings too. Chairs for a seating area is a good idea. I love battery candles. I have a tone of them on timers. I need so many batteries I buy them in bulk at Costco. They have their own Kirkland brand AA and AAA batteries which I use the most. The batteries last a long time too and I am not constantly changing them. The C and D batteries are brand names that I buy when they have a sale.

That long area wall can be a gallery wall with family pics and a reading area and a little library.

And you're so right about the bench being the perfect item to use under the screen! Aren't those kind of finds the absolute best?!! 💯 Your new table and stools are a great design! I've not seen a style with the stools stored up and under the table, but then I've not shopped for furniture lately☺️. I think two small occasional chairs would work beautifully in that long, narrow area. We have two lazyboy tub style swivel rockers that are diminutive in size, but oh, so comfy! I wouldn't trade them for anything! Like you, I'm petite in height, so they're ideal for reading or watching tv☺️. We purchased ours from Craigslist, but it may be worth checking the store's website. We also had stationary tub chairs from Ethan Allen (ruined from failed upstairs plumbing) that were equally comfortable and ideal for an area like yours. Just a thouht. When you mentioned Pittsburgh, I thought too bad we're not still in NE Ohio, just forty five minutes away! We could have met for shopping, then a coffee! Your hubby and mine would have enjoyed talking all things sound equipment!!! We loved to run to the 'burgh for shopping fun, and time in the city! You'll love being so nearby, I think☺️. You should decorate model homes, Liz...Absolutely gorgeous! We have a 120 inch screen. It's funny. You have all girls and I have all boys. My youngest is an IT tech and he turned the garage into an entertainment theater room...so much fun! Love your design and ideas how to pull everything together using all those warm tones. We went with the more modern look, again, boys! Grays and blacks..lol

Beautiful! I bought an ornate floating shelf from Hobby Lobby and no matter what we did is slopes down. Because the bottom was ornate and delicate I couldn’t add brackets. I now have it on top of a console table as a long riser of sorts. Making lemonade out of lemons! 😂😂😂
I have those lights, I have them in my bedroom on each side of the bed. I like the way they look. Your decorating is the best!

Your room is so beautiful. Looks just like a Liz cozy room. My option only, is that hall way wall would look beautiful with family pictures and different signs or small iron pieces between them. I know you would create something perfect.

Liz, in your long narrow space, since this is your "home theatre," could you add a long credenza against that wall. You could put movie posters or decor and stck the credenza with movie snacks like you did at your log home. I loved the candy dishes on your counter top. A small frig down there might be nice to. Loved everything. ❤

I just lve that new bar height table and stools, what a creative way to hide the seating. Hi Liz love everything.. the elongated space might be a nice area for a little snack area, popcorn machine etc., I too also like the idea of the two low profile chairs with a table in between for a nice conversation area as you had previously mentioned ,what ever you decide to do Liz , I know it’ll look great .
