In this day and tech-savvy world one would think that creators of speakers, woofers, subwoofers, TVs & all the hoopla that goes with them, would make something that looks pleasing to the eye. Drives me nuts as well. My husband is not fazed by cords & dust-gathering spaces that are hard to clean. I call one corner of the living room, "Fred Sanford's garage." Oh, don't get me started! He finally let me put garland around them so that it looks like clinging greenery on them. I also put baskets on the sides of them. I like the way you put the lanterns above them. Oh Liz, I’m with you on the audio systems! I fuss but with my husband but he lets me do whatever I want in the rest of the house, so I put my blinders on, grit my teeth and live with it. But he’s also a computer geek and he has all that goes with that! 🤬❤️

Growing up my dad had a movie room in the basement. Now I was born in 57. So remember todays room is completely different. My dad literally had a movie room. We had those enormous movie theater projectors and real movie seats. He had it all walled in with posters you thought you were at the movie theater. He knew people we were the hit of the neighborhood. My dad has passed and I still have movie reels He was a movie buff new everything about all the movies that you watched.

Ah, yes, the sound system! It's a good thing that you have a home entertainment room. We live in a small cottage and our sound system is in the living room with four tall min speakers and a subwoofer half the size of yours. Love the sound! I try to hide the speakers with cute things to look at. I feel your pain. Your entertainment room is looking good. I really like the way you hung your lanterns.
