2:26 From invasion (Invader were mostly Mughals today's Afghanistan people) and colonisation period (total roughly 1200 to 1400 years) it became taboo but in the 11th century and before that this civilisation was thriving & whenever any civilisation thrived it became open-minded just like Greek, Roman and Egyptian civilisations they also have Kamasutra type paintings statues etc. And it was also used as an instruction book, Couples not having kids or having problems in their relationships, who want some extra in intimacy can take one round around the temple and they will get so many ideas just like today we've Google search. 4:19 Builders choose very hard stones to curve statues. They knew that with time it'd get destroyed by harsh weather. The invaders (Mughals) were Muslims, and in their religion, there is no face, statue, or place of god so when they were converting and ruling this country they decided to destroy all identities of native people which is mainly temples and there are too many temples and too many statues on every temple so they decided to only break head and kept rest of the parts. 9:39 It's just an Asian thing. 😂I watched some Indian travellers travel to China same thing happened to them also 19:44 😂 Recommendation: Sun Temple, Odisha state
Thanks for explaining it a bit more, I knew it was destroyed by the Mughals but I didn’t know completely why. Avoid travel in rainy season because muddy at many places.Tourists should avoid capital cities because those are business&political hubs hence pretty crowded/chaotic,a common sense.
One should research well before travelling to an unknown place.
are you going to srinagar? it is very safe now elections are also happening there now
I plan to go up to Leh and Ladakh so possibly! I was in Srinagar last year and it is a beautiful place
We had many temples with sculptures and engravings like fine art , temples were not place of worship they were place of education and governing. India has worlds oldest universities. But foreign rule and invasion finished everything,. We had temples older than i$lam and christanity . We are oldest surviving civilization which has been thrashed for 1000 years , we are just recovering.. we were golden bird .. before invasion india would make 33% of worlds gdp and during independence we were left barely 4 billion pounds as reserves. We will be prosperous again someday .
Do visit in Mumbai guys ❤

Islam is so much opposite to dharmic religion ( hindu jain sikh buddhism ) when it comes to fundamental
Not just islam all abrahamic religions oppose hindusam that includes jews also ..,

If you notice all kamasutra painting is on outside of temple
There’s kamasutra, animals, dances carved as you go towards the main idol. The point is to fight various senses to reach god
That is very interesting to know!

It's about education in those days why to call it a taboo it's process of life
@@lakshmikrishna5660 I agree
Hinduism real name is sanatan dharma , which means eternal . We never originated and will never end . No one knows who wrote Vedas (world oldest existing literature is rig ved) , its believed it was collected by several sages , they meditated matched their frequency with universe and were resonateted with the knowledge which they wrote . Their are 4 veds
Our history is oldest no other religion or culture even acan match our history , even there is as such no way to convert to hinduism
Sex become a taboo in India when islamic invaders came before that we had a very open culture. It is part of our life..Thank you for visiting 🙏🏽 hope you guys do a safari in Kanha National Park... famous for Royal Bengal Tiger🐯 btw where are you guys currently now?
We actually did a safari yesterday and I was going to film it for a video but we only saw some monkeys and deer, no tigers :( we are still in Khajuraho but heading towards UP soon

@@Charlottemihell sad to hear that but there are few national parks which have tigers in it..why are you guys heading to UP? You should go to Chattisgarh there is a famous & unique temple known as Shri Chandi Mata Mandir which has bears in it and they are friendly to humans , Karl Rocks also went there even though he uploaded a video on his TH-cam channel. Chhatisgarh also has 4 tiger reserves and cool waterfalls and mountains..you should look into it and have a great time ahead 🤠stay safe ,stay healthy🙏🏾
Have you visited gujrat if you visit gujrat maje sure to visit raan of kutch salt desert
I haven’t been yet I am headed over that way soon :)
One correction..this is not the only temple with love poses..
Yes my apologies I was informed that it was, but I know now that that’s incorrect
I think the largest Shiva temple in the world is Brihadeshwara temple in South India and the largest Hindu temple is Angkor Vat temple in Combodia.
@@saksham2525 yes very true, the shiva temple that I spoke about here is the largest in the Khajuraho group of temples :) but there are larger temples for sure. Angkor Wat I have been to and it is amazing 🙏🏻
@@Charlottemihell Yeah Angkor Wat temple in Magnificent. It should be the 8th wonder of the world and you can see the image of the temple in their flag too 🇰🇭.
Fun Fact : Combodia name is derived from the Sanskrit name and it means land of kamboj which was an ancient Indian kingdom. Actually, Entire South East Asia is influenced by Hinduism and ruled by the Indian Empire.
Similarly, Indonesia which means Indian Islands, Singapore which means city of lions, Malayasia which came from malay kingdom, Malaysia (Burma) etc.
Why did you skip Kanha National park and Jabalpur tho?
@@saksham2525 Angkor wat is actually the 8th wonder of the world now! There is so much great history in all of Asia and it’s so interesting to learn about. As for skipping those places, we unfortunately don’t know how long exactly we will be able to stay out here so we want to see as much of our “bucket list” as we can now, and if we have extra time afterwards we will visit these places :)

Thanks for the correction I was told by local people that these were the only ones, I was misinformed my apologies
its kamasutra ," karma " means persons action it has totally different meaning
@@aryandesai9988 omg I didn’t even realise it had changed to that! Thanks for informing me so I can amend it now
Dude stop giving wrong information 🤦 Kama doesn't mean lust. It has different meanings used in different scenarios. We have "kama yoga" too which doesn't hv anything to do with lust. Kama can literally mean satisfaction or many other meanings depending on where its used. Sanskrit words hv different meaning s. There is a reason many western writers/philosophers/foreign visitors spread lot of misinformation about "Sanatan dharma" due to wrong interpretation of Sanskrit writings from our literature due to Sanskrit words having different meanings 🤦. Lust is kinda degrading term🤦
@@shasha0076 sorry i know the actual meaning but i was not able too explain it properly
@@Charlottemihell Karma means action/doing. Kāma means desire
Its not Karma Sutra, its "Kama Sutra" and its not a pornography, its ancient philosophy and only Hinduism talks openly about it
Yes I hadn’t realised it was spelt wrong in my title and is changed, as I expressed in my video it is very refreshing to see a religion be open about such topics which is one of the reasons I love Hinduism so much. Best wishes 🙏🏻
Go to "pench" national park of madhya pradesh where the jungle book was written by rudyrd kipling
I am headed in the opposite direction to there I’m afraid :( but if I come back this way I will absolutely visit thank you for the suggestion

sexual depiction is common in many temples across India
The other temple where I have seen sex poses like at Khajuraho was at the Sun temple at Konark, Odisha !!
Ooh I will have to visit when I’m around there !
not mughal empire, but Islamic invaders in general
For those positions a lot of yoga needs 😂
So much yoga 🤣
Yeah we kinda are evolving backwards ..... Sex is a very taboo topic now even when ancient Indians used to openly discuss it and talk about it, Love is opposed even when we have stories of Maa Parvati and Lord Shiva and Shri Krishna and Maa Radha, Women used to be warriors , sages , spies but now they are mostly restricted to homes . Its just sad
Keep safety in uttar pradesh and possible to wear full clothes and don't fall in anyone trap , ladies safety is low there ,rest in varanasi it's safe
Thank you for the advice
Its taboo in modern Bharat due to islamic invaders. These temples are from era before invasion.
4:20 Boo Islam
These type of people will crowd around you all day, it you are too nice.
Better to not encourage such objectifying behavior.
Such people's intentions are not good.
Sensuality outside of temple (on mid tier generally for adults getting into gruhasth ashram, lower tier would probably have animal stories things like that for kids)
Idea is that is 5 senses driven world (which projects outward).. but as one starts to move inside right into Garbh Grah (womb the source of it all), architectures are such one (experiencially) leaves behind the 5 sensed driven outwardly world and go within self - the source the atman... fundamental theme of all indic Darshans and Panth .. expressed differently and lived differently by em..
