I am such a person. But I need very low force buttons. Is there a possibility to simply adjust external buttons to a ebook reader via USB-C or BT to give a defined order (e.g. turn pages)?
I finally got this a couple of weeks ago and I love it! Although I don’t understand why there are two buttons on the remote. However, the battery leaves much to be desired so far. I only used it for one day yesterday, I read for maybe … 6 hours, and it barely works today.
i had a problem while reading in bed on the side, constantly having my hand in my face to flip the sides was annoying. Now i can keep my hands away from the kindle. Really niche solution for a really niche problem i guess, but for me its worth it.
4:02 how are forward page turns differentiated brom back turns? is it a double pulse? Edit: I didn't look closely enough, the book never skipped backwards. What's the second button for, then?
While I wish there were a single unit bluetooth page turner, these units do get the job done. I am one of those people with limited arm movement and am glad the button is easy to push.
I have a question: I have a pretty old sony E-reader (no bluetooth) and although I do have a tactile screen (capacitive touch), if I want to turn the page, I cannot simply just tap the side, I have to “swipe”. Does anyone know if this would work on my e-reader? Thanks!
Yeah, don't get us wrong, we're not saying this is a good product, it came across the desk, we reviewed it as is our job, and we will now get on with the rest of our lives LOL
@@goodereader yeah, I get it. And I've found myself in situations before where a product this niche was exactly what I needed. It's just crazy that it exists in the first place.
hey i was just wondering, you mention about bluetooth remote control in the video, so does bluetooth remote control (that doesnt have that touch thingy.. just regular bluetooth remote control) work as long as the kindle have bluetooth device? or is it not compatible? thank u!!
(2:00) Any capacitive touchscreen, that is. Also, all my suspicions about this are correct! I think this might be affordable, so I won't be surprised if you're already in contact with whoever sent you that to get more to sell! I've been trying to develop a Bluetooth page turner accessory, but I would want to get a couple of these (one for previous, another for next) if I can.
@@thomase13 No, since there were electrical contacts, and infrared touch screens detect when infrared light in horizontal and vertical directions get blocked.
W... Well, we said the point several times throughout the course of the video. For people that don't have Bluetooth on there devices that want remote access
you´ve got your reader propped up on a table and want to keep your arms comfortably resting in your lap or whereever, page turner in hand. that's it. that's the scenario.
It's *amazing* for people who have carpal tunnel or arthritis. We have a hard time holding the device, so letting the e-reader rest on a pillow and using this is fantastic.
I loved mine until the piece of shit just randomly stopped working with the remote. It was really strange too. Mine and my gf’s both stopped working one night at the exact same time but she was able to get hers connected again. Mine just turned into trash.
@@sneaky-Jay show me a regular remote that will work on a Kobo E-Reader and I'll use that instead. And if you could tell my heart failure medication to stop affecting my circulation that would be great 😏
Perfect for skipping ads on YT while cooking.
OH GOD! what a great product, i can read until sleep with this remote at night, i neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed it.
Interesting. Could be a decent accessibility device for people with limited mobility

Top button -->, smaller button

My question is why hasn’t Amazon incorporated something like this already on the kindle

There are no back turns I guess. Unless You can configure software on Your reading device that double tap turns page back.
@@qrak_1576 yeah, figures. Honestly, I'm not so sure if he turned the page back or not to begin with
Edit: nvm, I'm a moron
both button, skip forward.
if you really need a backward button, you' have to buy a 2nd device and clip it on the left side of your reader

Is there any other Bluetooth page turner remote for the kindle?
Does this work on Kobo to turn pages which are notes ?

I ordered the exact same one BUT MINE did not come with that specific direction book. Mine was one page of words only.
It seems they made some mayor advancements in clothespin technology...

would this work with a resistive touchscreen do you know? I assume not but wanted to check and I can't find any info online!
Does this work on a nook?
Could you recommend a good bluetooth page turner?
Mine won’t work!
If the ereader has bluetooth, shouldn't any bluetooth remote work with it?
This is not bluetooth. It is RF :-)
Cool. But it's much better to have the ereader on hand. Or the just like you said Bluetooth is better because I can't carry a lot.☺
Yes, this is an overly convoluted solution to simply using your fingertip
can u tell me how to buy this, e see in amazon and Currently unavailable ????
It's available on our site :-)
Can u send me link ??

I want it so much! But they don’t ship to where I live :(
Yes we do :)
Maybe I can use it to scratch my back where I can't reach?
Alguém sabe onde vende isso no Brasil?
Does it work for kobo ?

What a peculiar device.
It’s a joke, definitely!

i liked the video but this product is just solving a problem that doesn't really exist.
If you think it's a product that's not needed then the item isn't aimed at you.

Says someone who is disabled and needs this to be able to use my E-Reader. I guess you're not in the same situation 🙃
Don't lie trying to play the guilt game on here just to win simpaties. Normal remote does the job just fine, disabled or not 🙂.
