Thanks for the tip! I emulated you by dropping the tip of the racquet more towards the floor and this actually caused my forearm / shoulder to rotate naturally upon contact giving me more spin--- thanks! Now about your string tension and string type do you use gut ,hybrid or a synthetic poly etc.?
Can you please please do a video on where to contact the ball for top spin on your groundstrokes and serve. What part of the ball do you hit exactly it’s confusing. I can’t find any information on what part of the ball wear on the ball to hit to generate topspin.
I think you just need to swing the racket using your off hand like a lefty forehand and pronate in the same way she demo in the video. Just make sure you aren't doing it from the wrists but from turning the forearm, primarily initiated with the left arm.
Thank you for your top spin lesson, now I got a better understanding of it
Very clear and practical. Great insight. Thanks.
As usual, top notch instructions. Thank you
Great tip. Thank you!
Clear and helpful, excellent!
You've addressed a common misunderstanding, and addressed it well.
Supination is followed by pronation ❤!
The same actions happens in Serve. Body Coil / Uncoil + Arm Coil / Uncoil + Forward movement = Power.
@@robertwong-w5s momentum equals mass times velocity, therefore body movement is important!
good stuff
Pretty good stuff!
Great insight once again. The same actions happens in Serve too. Body Coil / Uncoil + Arm Coil / Uncoil + Forward movement = Power.
Am I right ?
The whole movement is ulnar to radial deviation , pronation , internal shoulder rotation
Thanks for the many good tips! Great background, where was it?

Can you do this for a two handed backhand? I still struggle to get topspin on the backhand side
awesome!
Awesome, can you do one on the 2 handed backhand?

Good but technically incorrect! You’re confusing pronation with internal shoulder rotation. Please look them up.
Just like in a serve, the pronation can't be done correctly without internal shoulder rotation.
But turning the whole arm causes the ball to go out the park.
They use wrist for sure!
Use the semi-western grip
If you want topspin, you must go low to high. The finish has nothing to do with any contact with the ball as the ball is long gone.
