Anthony played a great game today and Ridley looked sharp in his return to the field. Loved it
Agreed, love to see Ridley explode back, dude seems like a solid person. Past is behind him. Colts fans should be very optimistic about Richardson
Colts definitely were stumbling the entire game.
AR needs work, his pocket presence is pretty bad, his play extension is bad, his accuracy needs work, he's reliant on his legs but can't do a whole lot with them do to the Colts Oline.
There is a large contrast watching him VS Lawrence.
However I will say he's got a great quick release, we all knew he needed development, I'm excited to see how he progresses throughout the season, and especially a few years from now.
Ultimately not a bad start considering how unpolished he is.

Richardson is definitely still raw, sadly he missed out on a year of development in college thanks to Dan Mullens unwillingness to start him over a quarterback he was clearly better than. But I think Steichen will be able to maximize him, also he extended a few plays that I thought were impressive. 🤔
Zay Jones might not get the love he deserves, but that guy plays WR at a VERY high level.

Now, Jim Irsay has to either sign Taylor or trade him as he deserves better and the Colts deserve better. This game showed that they need him as their RB. The defense played great but ultimately lost because it was just Richardson without any help from the Colts running game. They rushed 16 times for 25 yards and that's just unacceptable. As a Colts fan, Jim Irsay has to be one of the worst owner, if not the worst.

As a Jags and a Gators fan(therefore a Richardson fan) I was excited for this one. General takeaways are Ridleys explosiveness is elite, he slowed down in the second half but wasn’t targeted quite as much. Lawrence also has to clean some things up. While I appreciate Steichen’s ability to put Richardson in good situations, I thought his aggressiveness on 4th down was costly. Richardson played about as well as you could’ve hoped for his first game, he just needs to learn to get down. Colts fans please be patient with Richardson, I’ve watched him since high school, I promise you you guys have a good one on your hands. 🙏
I'm a colts fan I think he did good for his first game. Aside from trying to force a few throws which cost us dearly good game overall. We got a goodbquarterback maybe need to find a rb if we can't resign jt
@@charlesstough0816 Yea, I’m not a fan of tanking, but if you guys only win like 4 or 5 games that would greatly help imo, then you could get someone like Harrison Jr in the draft, and draft a running back in the later rounds or get someone like Josh Jacobs if the Raiders don’t resign him. Moss isn’t bad either, so hopefully he gets healthy.
I don’t think he really forced anything he just missed. Jags started taking advantage of the accuracy issues late.
That Colts d-line looked good. Particularly, Buckner. The good players on that side showed up for the Colts today.

I can't remember any other quarterback completing so many long completions over the past year or so. It's the first thing I noticed about this kid.
LOL if you pause it at 2 minutes 10 seconds, you get to enjoy the vision of the 2 defending Colts linebackers colliding while Ridley made a magical catch.
The second touchdown was a perfectly placed timing pass in the corner of the end zone. Where it should have been. But the catch was even more impressive because Jones had to reach around the defender to catch the ball.
The long touchdown run was also very impressive.
The next thing I'm starting to notice about this young Jags team is the way they are able to make second half comebacks from behind to win the game.

Calvin Ridley went off, Defense needs to tighten up, T Law picking up from where he was in the playoffs, Once Tank learn to secure the ball he will be a problem. Anthony Richardson did great and he will continue to grow and I pray he is okay. This is from a Jags fan.
The jaguars always seem to play great against the colts. Even when Manning was here,, and the jags were like a 4 win team. They always seemed to win one of the two games in the season. If they didn't win, it was always close. I think it's a pretty underrated rivalry.
JAX is off to a solid start to the season with a good division win. Lawrence I expect to have a MVP caliber type season. We saw glimpses last season and he will be even better this season. I'm happy for Ridley as well and yes this team will win the AFC South. Next up is KC. Congrats on the win JAX 👍.

Great game to watch both teams had some great moments.
Great game. Both teams made some great plays.
So pumped to see the Jags with some great progress. It's also such a great vibe when a QB who was drafted so high is actually developing well and growing so quickly.
I'm an Alabama fan, so I like checking in on former Alabama players and see some clips of them with their NFL teams - I think Calvin Ridley is poised to have the best year out of all the former Alabama Receivers - and we have some good ones playing on several teams (Jaylen Waddle - Dolphins, DeVonta Smith - Eagles, Amari Cooper - Browns, Jerry Jeudy - Broncos). Ridley is playing fast/furious/and is surgical from what I've seen from preseason to this game; the suspension gave him a lot of fuel

Offense had some hiccups but leaning more towards a solid performance. Defensively made some good plays as well. Not mad at giving up points as they are both pro teams they made the necessary stands to win this game. This team is almost always the underdog so im always proud of them Jags 💪🏾

Score should of been 31-14. Literally everyone except that 1 defender thought the play was dead. But hats off to him for recognizing that and making a play that resulted in the TD. But it was completely botched and unintentional.

Not enough to overturn the call on the field, sure. Just saying it was an arguable call that basically gave the Colts the only life they had all game.
