Lissette además de buena técnica y expresión tiene un repertorio que me gusta. Es de las pocas cantantes actuales que de plano tienen magia en su arte, pues si he de ser honesta muchas de las intérpretes de hoy en día no me atraen ni me llenan. A parte igual que en la industria pop ahora en la lírica valoran más la belleza física que el talento. Por suerte Lissette es una de esas excelentes. Gracias por compartir. She sing with great emotion but that is where the resemblance with Calla's voice stop. Oropresa's voice is smooth and unified at all levels of the register with no brakes or noticeable bridges. My comment is not to take anything away from Callas uniqueness, but those two voices are miles apart.
I adore all that you embody in your artistry. You and Anna Moffo are my inspiration to sing bel canto in everything I sing. It is the lifeline to beautiful singing. I hope we meet one day. This girl could do for poor forgotten Mercadante what Callas did for Bellini, Donizetti and to a lesser extent Rossini: this is masterful singing in every sense of the qualification.
