Theory - the ice grenades and all ice weapons increase the shield drops. I noticed this happens on any ice bullet run. Don't quote me on it cuz I'm not sure but it seems right.

I think one of the biggest issues Neon Abyss has is it's lack of clarity. Everything is described cryptically, mixing and matching terms that are sometimes different things and sometimes mean the same thing. This means synergies are more difficult to build, or at least not clear in their execution. And while I realize they might not want to tip their coding hand by out right explaining percentages on 'chance' items, even describing the difference between little, small, moderate and good (for example) so players knew what to expect from an item would keep the disappointment at failure to preform down.
Frostfire grenades are literally normal grenades every grenade sinergy works with them, and he even got the begar item that makes he do more damage when he grabs pickups
And by this video I found out that team 17 has a different update scheme for xbox gamepass over steam/gog, since I can't seem to update neon abyss on pc gamepass, and the installed version is way older than this video version...

As someone that worked around, with, and built bombs for the government, I approved of this run. For that sleep deprived fun run, here's a little known fact about bombs. When a MK 84 (2,000 lbs bomb body) falls off the the pallet and rolls downhill, the locking lugs leave locking lug deep holes in the asphalt. Mk 84's just do not give a shit when gravity is enacted.
I'm pretty sure that the game just wanted to be put out of its misery at the end there. When the biggest threat to the run is *not being able to leave* there's an issue.
