I really wonder if it would be possible to mount the scope cam under the barrel (upside down) and turn the footage back around in post? I run sniper scope that is low on top of barrel, with red dot on top for close range - so the most common placement for me would be under.
I have an old runcam 2 airsoft Version and I think you just sold me on picking this up previous lenses were 35 mm and So I didnt know what to think about 25mm. but your footage looks about what I'm looking for.
I have one coming myself! Think I am going to try mounting it to a plate that has some rubber grommets to see if it helps with the vibration when the shots go off.

Or as I like to think of it, confirm who's a cheating bastard 🤣 Check out the foxeer 4k camera, I love it. I had the run cam 2 and other ones, but foxeer 4k is my favourite. But with that being said, the run cam 2 is a nice compact size for cqb.
@@Brimairsoft I much more prefer it, the image seems clearer than the run cam once you've focused it to your desired range. Battery life on 2.7k resolution is usually between 60-90mins . I usually play 1-2 hour long games, so I can just swap the battery out easily when needed, without the need for carrying and relying on a battery pack on the rifle. The phone app to edit the camera settings does the job just fine. Definitely recommend the foxeer 4k over anything else. You can see footage with it on my channel, I have a 50mm lens for my sniper and a 35mm lens for AR or smg's.

Yes, I have the 40mm version and it just broke recently. I think it was my fault but I'm not sure. But it did what it was made for

Yes you can actually rotate the lens if you decide to mount it to the side of the gun 👍🏻

That’s a great idea! Yeah for gbbrs there is definitely a ton of shake on each shot but for just about any other system your golden 🤙🏻
