One tip! Save your money and don’t waste it on a cheaper like $50 plate carrier. Save it up and get good quality and after being built out your ‘airsoft’ plate carrier would probably be like $150-$200. Otherwise you’ll be spending more money when you want to upgrade. Buy good quality for your first and you’ll overtime save money
Comms really do change the game. You can communicate well when you have to be quiet and you can communicate when it’s loud or ya boys are farther away.
6:02 so regarding the load bearing equipment, this seems to work a lot better for an AEG compared to HPA due to the need for the latter to carry a tank on you somewhere I personally haven't found a comfortable way to carry an HPA tank without going to a full plate carrier
I'd love to see a video about what to 3D print. I've been looking out for a while to find cool stuff to print. But many things are very gimmicky. I have printed a dummy silencer - which surprisingly increased the firing range and made the AEG sound much better. I also added a front grip, and made a dummy knife. But apart from these there are not many useful things I find. Sure, there are holsters, holders, organisers, patches, etc. But there is barely any content on YT that shows a collection of good prints you could have :D
For me personally I've printed a lot of adapters for the Odin speedloader, so I can use it on not just M4 mags but also vector and GBB mags. Also printed a Vector AEG battery extender(only fits really tiny batteries).
Hey Kraken ist just found out your channel and its awesome! Can you do a roomtour ? Your workbench and wall mount panel look awesome? Where can i get those?
Great question! I’ve got the black creek labs Siberian SRV2. I personally love it! Canadian made guns get an unfortunate amount of hate but this one’s been nothing but great for me.
@kraken_tactical @kraken_tactical I wanted to get a cz bren 2(223) as one of my first guns, but it's sold out almost everywhere I look. The other ones I looked into are kodiak defense and Crusader templar. Any oppinion on them?
Imo, stay away from kodiak -- loads of issues and QC issues, unless you know how to work on your own stuff. I got rid of mine. I am having loads of fun with the Lockhart Tactical Raven 556. If youre looking at the crusader templar, check out Administrative Results, he does a review on it
Love the video but oone question -- what is your view on plate carriers as body armor? While I understand that Loading Bearing rigs are much more comfortable and lightweight, does your opinion change if you want to introduce body armor?
Great question, good to have options, Body armour is fantastic (I have some) but Is designed to be run with a team. If you get shot while wearing plates you likely aren’t going to be able to just walk away. You’ll have many broken bones and internal damage. It’s not a get out of jail free card. It’s also really meant for clearing rooms in cqb where you can point your armour towards a threat. However all that being said the guys in Ukraine right now are running soft armour to protect from frag and explosions. So it’s a good option to have on hand but not always the right solution.
I wished I didn’t spend a whole lot of money on a helmet setup and goggle and mask setup only to be fogging a lot to going to wear a dye i4 mask and fitted hat with a bump cap insert
First a compliment. You have a good eye and are very capable of photographing this type of stuff. Second, a criticism . You are not a good subject for the camera, better for u to be the guy behind the camera. Third your observations about gear seem to be pretty spot on, but its important to place these gear choices into a greater context. Best gear for what?
I love 3d printing stuff, works great and if it breaks or you lose it, who cares you can print another. Super convenient and cool
Agreed great point!!

I kinda miss the speedsoft days.
This guy has better video production than most airsoft youtubers with over 1M subs, intro was hype af 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks so much!
Imagine not having a plate carrier yet, couldn't be me
😂👍🏻
lol

@@Callsign_Zion222 Could also just get one of the hundreds of different chest rigs out there. Cheaper, lighter, provides the same functionality

Thanks dude, too bad a headset with ear pro doesn't work well with a boonie.

What's your real steel rifle? I'm a Canadian soon to get a PAL and wondering what's a good gun to pick up

@@emealiowestI think I saw that video but forgot the gun name. There's also news about them making a v2 because of administration video.

@@kraken_tactical so in a real SHTF situation would you just run soft armor under neath your LBT for basic protection?
