Thank you EOD, I wanted to share a thought and see if you feel the same. The end game being after the story with limited progression is reminding me of FFXIV, they have a similar system where you can only get so much currency in a week and cap. The thing is every patch older resources will see increased drop rates and rewards as level cap increases. Do you anticipate something similar in star rail to allow new players the ability to catch up?
@@alystramorathi4339 from my experience with Genshin I don’t think they will increase drops. One thing is that 1.0 only has one event - moving forward we likely will see more events and that’s where new players (and old ones) get more resources too.
Traces Purple drops are very low, you should be fine farming themat TB40+ & 50+ to get a guaranteed boost on your character. Do not "prefarm" Traces material, just get what you need. You'll still get more overall at higher Equilibrium/stage, and you'll need all of it. As for Relics : You can start farming proper 4pc sets around TB50, but don't go all in. Get your 4 pc mainstat then wait till TB60+ for guaranteed 2x drops and begin the real endgame grind. No one is at TB65 (for final Relic stage) right now so we can't confirm that drops yet, but just like Traces you'll get more Relic exp to salvage at higher stages. Overall, Character Level/Ascend > Light Cone Level/Ascend > Traces > Relics. Once you're entering TB60 territory, get ready to spend 1.1 million credits and 138 Purple EXP books per character.

Is it good idea like to pre farm traces mats?? like maybe just for the 2 dps?? For example a traces mats of jing and clara I mean yeah i will prefarm those exp books bec those are the max efficiency and i need those to atleast make 2-4 cores of my team lvl 75 but after those can i prefarm those traces
Right, I farmed relics all the way from TL 40-46 and I STILL don't have good 5 star-main stat relics. Hell I don't think I even have the correct set bonus relic pieces. A lot of these content creators don't realize what they farmed is what got them to where they are.. instead they focus on what they currently need. Not to say farming nothing but relics is a good idea but its absolutely a necessary part of the process

I just reached TR50 2 days ago.. at 51 today and I've been struggling a lot on exp books because I kept farming relics and mats. But after watching your video I somehow feel more motivated to switch my focus on leveling my chars up. Thanks a lot!! Mad respect for your TR60 progress sia omg
The amount of XP, LC XP, and mats in general that you need from 60-80 characters is insane. I am going to hit level 50 Trailblazer probably by the end of the week. I guess I'll focus on the XP more than getting my 5* relics.
Pre TB50 it's best to farm for planar ornaments in world 6, only if you already maxed your main units. Then continue grind for lvl up mats in 50-60, while farming relics in between to just fill up the gaps, no need for perfect stats. 65 is where the traces & relics real grind, also pushing forward lvl80.
I'm currently only lv 50, so not 100% sure how thinbgs will unfold. However I feel like if u don't max refresh with lots of resources, I'm not sure it's manageable for players to rush their 8 characters to lv 70. F2P especially, without Battle pass resources have very low amounts of base purple books. That's a gigantic amount of stamina needed on farming both exp books and credits. I think most ppl are essentially limited to only lv 70 maybe half their squad, with lv 60 on buffers/debuffers
If you don't farm relics too much during TL 40-50 and pre farm exp that time the resources are just enough to level 8 character to lvl 70 together with light cone (battle pass included)
@@grayO8 The paid battlepass gives over 200 purple books and purple aethers. That's well over 2 weeks of exp calyxes at TL40. Don't kid yourself, most of that supposed ease of leveling that you're proposing comes from the "battle pass included" part.
im F2P my goal is completed lvl 15 forgotten hall and get 6 star on Memory of chaos ASAP, cause it's the reward for F2p player and i got 5 star in MoC, just lvl up your character and don't mind the relic, focus on main stat over sub stat and set effect
I reached trailblaze 61 in 26 days 100% pure f2p (because it’s easier than Genshin’s AR) and I like to keep my fuels for the future. Currently I have 3
I'm waiting to finish off the current event so I can get max rewards. I heard that the event scales with the world level (I noticed as well I was struggling at one of the challenges to get all rewards). So, I'll probably be holding off until then (which is in a few hours) than miss out on rewards.
@@davidyang3068 I never said the rewards in the context of an increase but the event itself. I want completion of all rewards available on the objectives list. I didn't fulfil the third criteria to get the Credits at first. That was one indicator if I raised my world level asap, than as you said, difficulty rises and the event enemies would be closer to lvl70 than lvl60 which would hinder me from getting the last criteria from the available reward pool. Credits are too important to pass up in raising characters.

Personally I'd save and focus on leveling characters and then passively use your weekly resin on relics. There are bound to be newer and better relics in the future that would be way more worth. Aka Emblem & Shimenawa Domain in Genshin
Just focus on lvling your character and lightcone, Clear forgotten hall and get 6 star on memory of chaos ASAP i already got 5 star as F2P, cause it's reset weekly and the best reward for f2p, do not care about relic set or substat only focus for the main stat only
What level of traces did you stop at? You went over char exp, light cone exp and relics but what is your recommendation for trace levelling from trailblaze 50-60?
In general main DPS you can push LVL 7 Traces not all of them just the ult and maybe skill. Supports keep traces at 5-6. it’s calculated that leveling your character and lightcone gives you more DPS rather then a 5% from a trace, But if you really like a character Lvl the trace how ever high you want to but even 6 is more than enough for most characters. Hope this helps.
I have an argument. I feel like farming relics is more worth it atm cause lvl up 70 to 80 so ridiculous and farming relics and start farming gear for ur dps. Lvl 80 not worth it cause whale constant refill still gind it hard what about f2p geel impossible and not worth it so suggestion farm relic. Max relic lvl 70 = lvl 80/90 character
Just stay lv 70/80 there is no reason to lvl up to 80/80 I would say it is like genshin impact, everyone just leaves at 80/90 to use the energy other stuff, until you have nothing more to spend anywhere else

The time I recommended to farm a few relics was 40-50 you can check my videos done prior. If you follow my guide you will be in a similar state

@Ian yea, but i farmed more mats than relics, mainly went for the main stats then went back to farming mats
so better farm exp now until 2 team

At lvl 50, get your 5* relics for base stats. Then proceed with other things.
these exp books are gonna take all of my f2p trailblaze power they need to give out more exp books.
