Ipoh is a lot more laidback while Penang is more developed in terms of their tourist attractions like the old town (evidently so, because Georgetown is a UNESCO World Heritage site!)

Souper Tang sells soup mainly, but has lotsa other dishes. Everything in SG is much more exp than MY 🥲

Didn't feel much charm in Penang myself. Too many cars also make for bad tourist experience.
