That's extremely cool! How is it in a dual mono setup? Is it essentially recording 2 stereo tracks with one instrument only left and one the other only right?
Hey, thanks! And yeah that’s right, it’s the guitar just on the left and the synthesiser just on the right. Two separate outputs too so the left channel goes out to a guitar amp and the right channel synth goes directly into the tape machine.
Great track. I have a technical question about the ditto .In the description you say one output went to the tascam one to the amp. Did both outputs receive a sum of the inputs or was it split i.e. did the left input channel only go to the left output and the right input to the right output?
Hey! What goes into the left input only comes out the left output and the same for the right. It’s good for looping a synth and guitar together while keeping the sounds separate for mixing. Thanks for listening :)
Very cool!!
Thanks man!
very nice!!!
Thanks so much!
Wooow man!!! Nice trip!

@@SleepingOrchard Cool, thanks for explaining. I've been going back and forth on that thing for years 😄

@@SleepingOrchard great. Very little info online about this thanks for your help.
@@FitzyBarrett No problem man! Happy Christmas & New Year.
Man this fantastic! You got a bandcamp or media outlet you drop music on?
Hey man, I really appreciate that, thanks! I do have a bandcamp page, it's sleepingorchard.bandcamp.com.
I can't sync my ditto with my volcas howwwwww
I am sync’ing them both to a Korg Electribe 2 sequencer, not sync’ing them to each other.
Unfortunately the ditto & volca can’t sync’ together.
Very awesome!
Thanks man!
