Wonderful video quality with a great explanation. You Rock! I have always wanted someone to explain playing gear chronicle in a way that more people can follow and enjoy. @4:47 As a GC enthusiast I do a lot of testing and variation with my lists. Regarding new ZTB support, I've had some success (two 4-0 sweeps at last 16/19 man local) with a list that has some alternative choices. For G-Zone, I'm running 1 TMoE, Uluru, instead of a 3rd ZTB Guard, and 1 Raphanna instead of a RTM, Uluru. I don't have Dust but I'd make room for it if I did. I'm running x2 Avenir and Sebreeze / Altered. Depending on how the meta shifts in the area I may drop Altered / 2 Gear Next for 2 Groovy and a Long simply because of usability. I'm topping out at 11 non-heritage, but my main goal isn't setting up three turns, it's stable, consistent pressure. For main deck: -Thruster Bison, +4 Heart Thump Worker, -2 Hegald, +1 SS, Lishma so 3/3/3/4/1 (Lishma of course, is there for pre-gb pressure and there to help set up extra attacks later if necessary, I can also fetch it with Dran Z if I already have my stride boss etc. -2 Pulsar Igigi, +2 Delayed Blazer (This card helps me set up Merry Block from deck or actually pressure on the Pegasus turn if I have a Lishma in play. -1 Tiger G, +1 Proceed Sheep. (Love the bind from drop to set up Metal party combos. If I feel like I am against a lot of tempo aggro or mid range decks, I'll run -1 Coatl -2 Delayed and go for +3 Kalibum or I'll This is entirely based on local meta and not necessarily a better choice. I'm sharing because relevant to variation and success in that scope! Thank you again for making an awesome video and covering stuff!
Thank you really appreciate it!!! Nice variations i really like the Lishma and Delayed blazer aditions for early game aggresion and also some late game multiattack options defintly going to experiment with them.
I played in a shop challenge yesterday and came 2nd. I wasn't playing this build, I was just turboing for 2nd stride Heritage. I did that against another ZTB player who was playing this build, they survived my Heritage then proceeded to go into there own Heritage [having done a split pegasus as they got 1st stride, then GG'd me 2nd which I thought was weird as I knew they had the heal triggers already]. I had no idea this was a thing, and after surviving their first additional turn I realised what exactly was happening. This build will 100% beat anyone who goes for 2nd stride Heritage. Also amazing video, might be the best vanguard channel for deck profiles
Thank you I do my best ^^. I Didn't know this was a thing either untill now. Also Congratz on winning the Promo voucher for Spring fest and if your attending one Good luck in the Team League.
I used to run before and if you want that resist option that feel free to add here it can work with some match ups but remember hand lock of chaos bypasses it and also hand dominate from Rinne bypasses resist
I don't understand your question do you mean is it necessary for Chronojet Dragon G to be in a Timeleap deck or do you mean what is necesary in a Time leap deck with Chronojet Dragon G?
Switch out one split pegasus for one hang long and you can copy both huang-long’s skills and use them twice on gear groovy or just run an extra huang long so you have the option of flipping up either another split pegasus or your first of 2 huang longs
i honestly play mine 12 crits, you dont need to stand RGs since you got skills that replace them. i also play 4 Spearhead Unicorn and my g1 and g3 lineups are also slightly different, and for the gzone i dont know how u can live without Avenir Phoenix. nonetheless, great build and explanation!
Very well done video, can you explain one thing. you said to stride to Split Pegasus and use the skill to draw as much as possible. how can you draw with Split Pegasus? [ACT](VC)[1/Turn]:[Counter Blast (1) & Choose a face down card from your G zone, and turn it face up] If you have a "Zodiac Time Beast" heart card, choose one of your grade 1 or greater rear-guards, return it to your deck, search your deck for up to two with grade -1 than that card, call them to separate (RC), and shuffle your deck.
First of thank you :) what i meant by drawing alot with Split Pegasus is that you use his skill to call either 2 cruising dragons or 2 transit dragons to force as much draw as possible in that turn.
i understand that a 3 turn move is really powerful but i feel like if u can already heritage on second stride u shuld go for it because most deck can kill kill you by there second stride e.g. Darkness and Dominate
Hey Mr time leap, just bought a bunch of premium stuff to build time leap, but I can't afford ragnaclock or even find tick tock worker (at least until reprint), what would you recommend as substitutes for those in the deck, I even got so desperate as trying 1 chronotiger and 1 rebellion to use with grogrock stride, but it's still weak, please sos
Watch this with headphones, thank me later. If you want to optimize your Groovy turn, take out 2 Gearnext for 2 Nextage. With Heritage around, there's no reason to run 4 Gearnext anymore, you can use that space for Nextage. On first stride into Split Pegasus, flip Huang Long instead so that Groovy can flip Nextage or vice versa. The only downside to this is that Chronojet Z is mere 11k beater when Groovy uses Nextage's skill.
Yes that's definitly a stronger groovy turn, the only downside of that is that you would only have 4 ZTB face-up at the end of that turn (1 spilt pegasus, 1 Huang Long, 2 groovies) "sadly" nextage isn't a Zodiac Time Beast and your aiming for 5 face up. if you end your turn with 4 face up you can just go second stride into gearnext will have the same result only its a stronger stride on its own and for less resources. But maby 4 Gearnext is maby an overkill can always swap 2 out for something else.
can you explain why split over avenir i think avenir should be stronger because its effect is better and so what and you have a bigger damage output first place so you can give your opponent guard pressure which helps to set up your heratig plays so their gotta right their
problem that i have with Avenir is that it is random you check top 5 to many times i hit 3-5 triggers in that top 5 and than your "multiattack is useless". Also avenir doesn't fix fields and if you have a full field you need to cal ontop of units which is not ideal. (and first stride avenir can only call 2 units) usually resulting in one extra attack maby if your lucky you can get 2 11k attacks in but in my honest oppion thats a terrible weak pressure. Split can go van a teribble hand and no field to a great field with maby 10/12 cards on hand. Avenir will give more presure but is luck based but you wont build a big hand that turn and you need to reach end game., Most stride turn are deadly if you only have 5/6 cards on hand nowadays. And if you realy want Split can go agro to just call two multi attack grade 2s you can easly go for 5/6 attacks on a split turn if you want
one interresting think i have personly in mind is that avenir increse the pressur and is a swett backup and that fact that you can posibbily make splitpegasus then go into avenir so you bassicaly have early game agression then the problem is when you play againts a deck named great nature or even a deck lick shaharot gastill which the problem comes that you dont can guard really easy whit your g-guardian so bassicaly the part that you dont go behind your opponent and try to dont really go back in damage and one big adventage is following the strategy that youn can make more pressure and holding your opponents hand low which i think is nice
also basically i swich geargrovy for avenir a pualon for i think aseabrezze so you can have a first stride for gb1 and some stuff all in all a top decklist and ps do you play yugioh cause of exodia
No i don't play Yu-Gi-Oh altough i played it way back in the day when the OG anime was still running. No i based this deck off "Exodia mage/ Quest mage" of Hearthstone.
You can run him in this build but i personally don't like to run him because i had to many instances where the top 5 were only triggers or PG. I like to go for a more consistent stride option.

Thank you for the whole decklist and explanation. I was very much confused about how the ztb deck worked but now thanks to you its very clear to see.
Also, do you think is it good to add pulsar tamer manish in the deck ?
I used to run before and if you want that resist option that feel free to add here it can work with some match ups but remember hand lock of chaos bypasses it and also hand dominate from Rinne bypasses resist
Also I'm happy to see this video helped you more to understand the deck in general. Feel free to ask question anytime
welp this means I dont have to run manish anymore. I have another question, what is necessary for a time leap deck for chronojet dragon g in it ?

Best deck profile ever
TRUE
Thoughts on instead of the hetrohound g guardian, you tech in a nextage for Geargroovy targets, it allows for another attack to apply pressure

i say use altered dragon as a G unit.
there may be times you can not stride, and with altered you can bind something and thats a free cost for stride
Yes, definitly a viable options for those situations

@@VanguardInsider He is right. This is a very good channel. I have a question. Can i copy heritage by groovy and then get a extra turn?
@@ahasabamirraiyan8031 sadly you can't Groovy can only copy Gear Dragons AUTO abilities heritage is a Chrono Dragon
In 9:30 how did u call chronofang?
Metal party dragon
Thank you
What if we keep another huang long instead of a split pegasus? If we keep another huang long groovycan copy the skills of 2 huang long
GOOD IDEA
