Yeah I am a Pompey fan from the other side of the planet (Australia) who due to geographical circumstances has only been to 2 Pompey matches. But still I donated 1000 quid sterling to save my club. I have followed us since 1993, I have lived in Australia since 1986 but this club has given me so much over the years. That donation to the Pompey trust when we were on our knees, looking at possible liquidation wasn't even a decision, it was something I had to do, a duty if you will, to my bloody football club
Every penny helped at that time. Without people like you we wouldn't be in the position we're in at the moment.

Fuckin' brilliant. I'm a B/burn Rovers fan - what I would do for my club to be owned by the fans.
Whatever anyone says, it doesn't fuckin' matter what league you're in, the people own and run the club, give me that any day instead of being owned by foreigners without a clue what the club means to a football supporter in the U.K.
You lot deserve the success that WILL eventually come - kudos.

I've just became a Pompey fan when i started to read about the Premier League and the clubs who won that league. I wish i could go to Porstsmouth and watch a game from this amazing club. The bad thing is that im from far way...i live in Brazil and i do all the efforts to watch games at the internet and read the news about Pompey. COME ON POMPEY!!!
Well done Pompey fantastic club great fans hopefully you can do what we (Bournemouth) did and come up through the leagues in a short period of time!

Of course as a Pompey fan I'm biased, but what an excellent video that accurately and succinctly describes the club and city and just how much rallying around had to happen to save us.

Yes, I'm also a Pompey fan but due to distance and circumstances no longer attend matches. However I also donated my £1000 towards the club. These days I'm a season ticket holder at another club which I won't name but Pompey, the club I supported, as a boy growing up in Portsmouth, will always be number one as far as I'm concerned.
