In this clip, Godfrey talked about the recent news of O.J. Simpson's release from prison. He says that he considers O.J. a winner in all situations because he finds a favorable outcome at every turn. Godfrey also poked fun at O.J. stating that he O.J. undoubtedly made Black friends in prison yet won't associate with Black people now that he's out of prison. Godfrey then went on to praise the O.J. Made in America docuseries that chronicled "The Juice" during his high profile murder trial. Godfrey thinks the series was great like most documentaries that are about "a**holes."
The conversation shifted to Trump and Godfrey gave his take on the polarizing 45th President. He spoke about Trump being a godsend for comedians who have had their careers revitalized by Trump's continuous soundbites and scandals. He spoke about how he campaigned for Bernie Sanders who he wanted as president but conceded that he doesn't look presidential which matters in the "shallow" minds of American voters. Godfrey also mixes in a few impressions of Sanders and Trump as he breaks down America's political climate.
