The biggest con is that the city has housed most of the addicts in yaletown along with the addiction services, needle exchange, safe injection site, social housing, mental health transition housing. Yaletown used to be awesome but I had to move after all the heroin addicts shooting up on the door step of my luxury modern condo.
There’s a lot of car break ins
I sold my condo it was so disturbing. My advice? Pick a different area. I’m not saying where I moved cuz it’s a nicely kept local secret.

Too expensive for shoebox apts, but otherwise fun hood.
