Ay Bige becomes sure that Bali Bey has given up on her after what she's been through. However Hürrem wants to show her that isn't true. She starts to make a research without losing time. Will Ay Bige forgive Bali Bey after what she has heard?
Mahidevran starts the preparations for the engagement ceremony of Ay Bige and Mustafa. Sahip Giray Han arrives to Istanbul for attending the engagement ceremony. However, Prince Mustafa has already left the palace. An unexpected person will make up the absence of Prince Mustafa.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

Hatice's actress was just phenomonal in this role 10/10 preformance
The last scene of Ibrahim meeting up with his brother nico explained all his pent up feelings ... he was actually in love with nigar kalfar. He married hatice to stay in power ... he "made his own bed of thorns" or he was forced to make that bed and now he's stuck with it and had dug his own grave unfortunately. He realised at the did of the day he's still a slave ... He also made the wrong decision to join forces with mahidrevan and mustafa because he's greedy and power hungry. The power he attained got to his head and soul. Suleyman told him that too. He tried to have his "feet in two boats" - Suleyman's and Mustafa's. He's actually in the same dilemma as Hureem was at the beginning. He'd to stay alive ... Hureem was luckier in that her choice of "love" for Suleyman paid "dividends"😊 and she's more focused than he was in dealing with palace politics. She focused on staying alive to protect Suleyman than her children first. The wealth and power would then fall into place. She outsmarted and outplayed everyone in the harem and then the palace ...
lbrahim handing his seal was smart move. He knew that Suleiman would forgive him because Hatice would beg.
"Choose the woman you'll marry with and your cow with your village" makes family life easier haha but sometimes fate has other ideas

Ibrahim always wished he could have lived a simple life and his status as a slave was always a source of pain that all the power he had couldn't take away his over the top arrogance and affair with nigar was a way to compensate for this and it didn't help that suleiman kepet reminding him of this
This is definitely one of those times where I couldn't help enjoying Hatice's scenes and, by extension, Selma Ergeç's effort as an actor here. But, something I only noticed on rewatches, is that, not only is Hatice's dream remarkably prophetic, her gown here is the same as the one worn when Ibrahim's death is announced for real later in the show.

This scene does show superb acting by the actress but also shows how weak Hatice was as a woman and which ultimately was her downfall. Shah Huban was right, she was nothing like Hatice.. she was a strong Sultana who knew her worth.
Hatice was a woman and womans by nature are sensitive when it comes to their loved ones
Yeah she completely nailed the role of an emotionally unstable woman! All these actors are 💯
Why can't Ibrahim take Hatice with him?
What a performance of both, specially Sultan sulaiman, the best actor.
Of course I feel empathy for Ibrahim Paşa, but cheating should never be condoned. Had he wanted to, he could've divorced Hatice, but deep down he knew she was right, losing her would mean losing all his titles.
Not in any sort of effort to justify what he did here, but I don't think Ibrahim legally could divorce Hatice? I'll admit to not having done a full amount of research into it, but, by the sounds of it, these Imperial princesses outranked their husbands so severely that the circumstances of their marriage could often be dictated by them (and, admittedly, by whether or not the sultan would acquiesce with their divorce request).
@@Redluna32 perhaps and considering Ibrahim was still a slave technically, it would've made things harder. For example, had Lütfi wanted to divorce Şah, he could go to the courts as he was a free man.

They expect that the love and devotion will continue after the fact . But mostly those feeling die off .
