I love the time lapse videos Sid. They are really interesting. It’s great to see months progress in one film.

Thanks Margaret. A couple more to "finish" up and edit. Then it will soon be time to start some for next year. Stay safe.

Year journal vids are very satisfying to watch. You got some buds pop where you wanted them. Thanks Sid!

You're welcome. Glad you like them. Couple of others "in the works". Hopefully I won't lose any more footage. Stay safe

Nice progression Sid. Those kind of stems/leaves are challenging to miniaturize.
Heading back to Florida tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing and working on my tropicals again. Not to mention the warmth of the sun. Thanks

Thanks Matt. Enjoy Florida and the tropicals. Who takes care of them while you're away? Hard to find someone prepared to water mine for a week or so if I want to go away. Stay safe

I have an Irrigation system set up and a neighbor who checks on them. I have a Jacaranda down there that has the same fan type leaves as that mountain ash of yours.

Just googled Jacaranda. Oh wow! Does yours flower? Beautiful!

Yes, they’re quite unique. Mine is in development so no, no flowers yet. Someday

Great progression and cool little tree. Has just the right amount of gnarly-ness.

Definitely gnarly! Just the right word. Thanks buddy. Stay safe

Thank You , I am growing an ash tree with interesting movement in the trunk, I collected it in Junary from a garden of my relative. I will fellow your tree for learning how to style it

If you check my channel I have several videos on Ash trees. Some fusion projects some single trees. I'm sure you will find something useful/of interest. Stay safe

I love this, looks like mine but way thicker. Mine has a nasty scar as well. These are fast growers and those fronts are a lot to lose every winter.

Thanks Josh. Glad you liked it. Usually get great autumn colour too. Stay safe

Sid have you tried defoliating your ash.
I usually do mine 3 times a year and have great success in pushing back growth in the trees and reducing leaf size. Im with you on ugly trees they are great to work with.

Yes, and it works well with trees that need refinement doesn't it? Sometimes removing half the leaflets can help ramification without checking growth too much in development stage. Thanks for commenting. Stay safe.
