Good video, in real-world conditions! What liner is in your Impact? I tried them in a 700mm STX Slug Liner A and they worked well. Only had room to test them up to 100m though.
@@GunningForFun superior liner was designed to shoot pellet and light weight slugs, superior heavy is for heavy slugs !! I would say 28grains and plus … but I’ll try them both and I’ll let you know 👍
Do you have a heavier 🔨 spring? The reason I ask is because I got my best results with a heavier hammer WITH the original pellet probe. What I have noticed is my slugs are only faster on max power. And only 10 fps...every other HS setting was slower with the slug probe. And my velocities had a std dev of 1.2 with the pellet probe shooting same slugs.
It was a night and day difference when I installed the slug power kit but used my original pellet probe instead. And I tried EVERY slug probe depth..and the best I got was about 11 fps more with the slug probe..and that was only at MAX on my power wheel. What I'm saying is if you plan on changing power wheel settings to anything but MAX..at any time...then the original probe is faster and more consistent. But the heavier hammer is a must for slugs

More than decent groups for a basic cheap slug.what is the barrel twist rate and the slug diameter.
The liner is a slug liner A with 12.5 twist. The slug does not state the diameter just 5.5mm

From what I have read that sound right. I do not have any first hand experience with the other barrels so I can't give adefinitive answer.
