The single coolest scene in this awesome series. The actor that plays Milchick needs to be nominated for something. Overall, there isn't a single bad performance.

Totally. Milchick’s moves, the lights and music, the camerawork, but also Helly (Britt Lower’s) confident and defiant presence. She’s the only one holding up to Milchick and participating with a sense of bemusement vs the awkwardness evident in the other characters. She’s the standout performer in this show.

@@naysay02 nah I have to respectfully disagree tramell (milchick) is 100% thr stand out actor in the show, he literally gives a unique and 10/10 performance in very scene he’s in. Britt’s acting was good, don’t get me wrong, but I feel like her acting was cookie cutter and she could’ve been replaced quite easily without changing the overall tone of the show

They handled Dylan so well as a character. At first he’s the office doofus, but then the trauma of him finding out he’s a father to a kid he’ll never know immediately humanizes him. It makes you hardcore root for him. Great acting!

It's not only that it was any surprise. It was the specific surprise -- a break from monotony. So that the change in lights represented exactly what the Music Dance Experience represented. Also -- Defiant Jazz would be a great name for some improv jazz combo with a saxophone. And picking Defiant anything, yet relaxing into, shows the paradox that is Helly.

My favorite scene of the show outside of Irving walking back from the retirement party with that final revelations of revolution.

Incredible scene , and so true : if u became a rookie of the quarter in my previous job , u would get some dancing party during office hours as well. Thanks God I changed office and I’m getting real benefits. The show is amazing, scary and beautiful.

It reminds me of the karaoke scene in Cable Guy, also directed by Ben Stiller, especially because of the lights and camera movement.
