I pity you when you take your car for maintanence and notice its more like a road side mechanic shop with sub par technicians. Worst when all the service center closes. Horrible when selling it one day.
@@MC-zv3ri lol seems very obvious you're talking about the old chery that was brought in by a 3rd party company. Chery Malaysia now is directly under Chery China. You've never been to their new service centres 😂
I like your review of this car out of all the other reviewers. They always just jump into the tech and features but ignore the reasoning user will think before pulling the trigger. Totally agree with your analysis. Good job.
been using x90 exec for 2 months/5000km now, and i can say that it is the best thign u can buy for the price. If u have money i think mazda CX9 is the best in its class
i sat in one in one of the roadshows , first thing you notice is how deceptively large the car is , and secondly , how hard the driver seat is..almost zero padding at the base...also , the base is kinda short...the driving position is great though for my height , but the seat itself is terrible , nothing beats the X70 seat comfort. As many have pointed out since the launch, the x90 platform is a level down and cheaper to manufacture than the x70 one ,hence the difference in refinement...all in all , the price is too good to ignore if you are looking for this type of vehicle
Yeah I sat in my friend's "premium X90" from KL to Penang and back. 1) If second row passengers wants to sit comfortably, third row really has no space at all. Third row strictly for smal small kids, not even teenagers. 2) Engine to me was struggling on more hilly terrain even if its a not of great gradient, if you happen to be on a stretch of slight uphill climb and the roads are not even curvy this car stuggles. I cannot imagine if somone drove up to Genting with 6 passengers and luggages in it. 3) Either the engine was struggling which made it noisy, or the X90's sound insulation is poor, one of which. Its not a quiet call on the highway or under some "pressure". 4) Comparing to X70's seats, both driver's and passenger's seat are not up to par. X90's seat feels cheap, blunt but sorry lah. 5) Maybe its just me, the paint job on the car is a bit thin? Did anyone discover this? 6) Ride and Handling for me is ok lah, its a family car afterall. End of story this X90 is much less refined vs the X70, by about 40% I will say. X70 interior is also much more luxurious and much more quieter on the highway vs the X90. The only problem I have with the X70 is its fuel economy hugely due to the over-weight dated platform.
Am about to put a deposit on a Chery Tiggo 8 Pro, till i came across your excellent X90 review. Am now in the doldrums because of you, no pun intended. Joking aside, between the aforementioned two cars, which is your favourite? Keep up creating great reviews, great job
Go for the Chery, simply a much much more luxurious, refined and well made car. X90 is horribly underpowered and visually way too plain and massive. 6 seats is also not as practical as 7, and still no carplay
I like your humour.. "back here, this is not a fridge" got me dying 😂
You are now my favourite car reviewer for Malaysian cars..
Tiggo 8 Pro owner here 🖐️ I can testify that the cabin is super quiet to the point that I couldn't even hear the ambulance siren behind me blaring 😂

On the contrary I feel that the X70 driver seat is more firm than the X90. X90 is more like a soft cushion riding on the luxury boat lol😅
@@EarthyLeeDo you think chery tiggo have much more comfortable 3rd row seat compare to x90? Suitable for adult?
Super detail and technical, Proton should listen to all your feedback.
Fantastic review 👌🏻🇿🇦 Absolutely love your commentary 😂.
“ well nourished & banished to the 3rd row” classy roast 🔥👌🏼
Fantastic review, super interesting and well presented. Keep going MalaysianMotoring!
Love the review, especially the hilarious sarcasm
This is the greatest proton car ever. And the hottest on market 😂
You're so funny...I like your reviews. Good job sir

Does it have to be new? If not a very recent Kia Sorento Diesel. I am using the UM model.
Better chery than this car. U will not regret.
If "RM per kilo"...l think it should be the S70 flagship😅😅✌️✌️
Aiman please get yourself a new USB cable. 😜
Pls get away with back ground music...annoying and irritating
