Much to my surprise, I am in your video for a second!! (in the frame where you are showing your coffee cup at lakes of the clouds - I’m wearing the green jacket) - I’ve been watching your videos since the start - thanks for posting and sharing your adventure! Super strange coincidence we were at the hut on the same day (idk why but I didn’t realize you were among the thru hikers staying at the hut that night - Would have said hi) - was my first trip to the White Mountains, my partner and I did a hut-to-hut hike from Lakes of the Clouds to Mitzpah Springs - had a really enjoyable hike, loved the scrambling and scenery and thinking of going back to visit more huts and see more of the Whites. Thanks again for sharing your journey! I have enjoyed learning more about the AT and local plants from your videos, and appreciate your positive attitude and highlighting of leave-no-trace principals.
Don't sweat it. It will work out at Katahdin. Don't worry. So happy you made it to Maine. Keep it up! I will be back on Trail in Mass on August 30th. Stoked. Rock N Roll.
It is so good to see you still on the trail. My husband and I met you when we were RVing in Damascus outside the coffee house, and we sat and chatted a bit. You're going to make it. congratulations!!! I am following your trip and will watch your summit. Enjoy!!
Your Journey has been so incredible to watch, lol your tramily "views" on mount washington were great. Most people let the whites really get to them but you seem to really have an enjoyment for the outdoors which is refreshing. With the Katahdin Logistics it'll come along. I hope the six of you summit together and make it a priority to get a picture together over with family on actual Katahdin just in case bc you all endured this together where as family can always summit again later lol. It would be epic to have a massive family group photo at Baxter though lol
Great hike in the whites! Beautiful views. Thanks for sharing! 1900 miles. Congratulations 🎉. 🎈. You have done so well and have enjoyed your hike with your trimly! Take care & God Bless. Your almost there!! 😊🥾🏕️🙏😴❤️🧗♀️
Glad you had a good time in the Wobanadenok (white mountains)!!!! Good luck on the 100 mile. Hope you get good weather on Katahdin. The Bigelows are sick.
congrats on your hike! btw...make sure you have transport arranged from birches camping area/Baxter state park ahead of time. the shuttle only goes there if they KNOW someone needs a ride out. Also, some families reserve a campsite to meet their hiker. PS...Millinocket is a cool little wind down from your accomplishment if your tramilly wants to mix and mingle with other's family members. sailor jack
I'm glad you guys got into NH and got geat views. So many hikers got into NH and just had rain and clouds. It's been the rainiest summer for a lot of years for us in NH. Enjoy your journey, It is cloudy in Whites more often than not but it's is still great getting up high.Good luck on the rest of your hike
One of my loves since I found you is that you identify special plants that you see and share. Another is your open honesty (heart). May all these blessings that you share with us continue to manifest within and around you
I'm glad you enjoyed Lake of the Clouds hut. 😊 You guys are very close to my home state of Maine! 💪 Proud of you TC! Your vlogs are so good, we may need you to turn around on Katahdin and SOBO. 😂 Take care ✌️
Whoo-hoo! Another great adventure week! Seems like you just started and it's almost over...enjoy all that you can. Every moment in nature and beauty. Leave the drama behind. Happy trails!
1900 miles! Wow, you are just ticking them off. Great views!! Looks like you are really enjoying your trail family. It's so great to see a smile on your face.
It is so good to see you enjoying the final leg. There is a joy in your spirit knowing that you can see light at the end of the tunnel. Have fun, enjoy every moment, for it will soon end.
Don't let the "real world" crowd your brain and add worry to your hike. Enjoy the hike and realize that what you have learned on this hike will come to you post hike and let you see that NOTHING in the day to day "real world" is major and you will always be able to work your way through it far easier than pre-hike. geek
not sure if I would want my love ones to summit with me at MT K ...MT K seems very tough and to have a novice on my special day seems like more trouble than it's worth. I mean we love our love ones but are they really ready for one of the toughest mountain on trail.

"Clearly, we have no views" will always be my favorite line.
I am always amazed when you, and other hikers show a mountain miles and miles away and say, thats where we were.
