04:41 So, the chisel quality is not kept, but the bonus granted by "Chiseled perfection" is applied. You don't get the 20% quantity granted by chisels, but you get the 3% increased effect of Explicit Modifiers per 5% map quality.
having absolutely blast with this strat. found like 10+ t17 in like 30 maps. and ridiculous amount of maps and syth/elder/gurdian maps. glad i got recommend this video
PSA: If you've got a good team of T9 T10 mappers in your town, you scour the guardian/conq map you find and if they complete it you get the fragment. Good if you're too lazy to sell or run them like me.
You really don't need all of the connected map nodes. It's only .5 maps per map because it doesn't scale with anything in the strategy, which is a really small amount compared to the amount of scarabs you can get by taking the big scarab wheel in the top right, the one near the big Kirac wheel, and the ones for specific Scarab chances in the middle quant wheel. If the connected nodes were that good, people would take them on every Atlas tree, there's nothing specific to this strategy that makes them better.
I still think the usual 8 mod + eater altar is better, twist of fate on average gives you 5 + 2 mods (probably more like 4.5 + 2 mods since 4 mods is most common when chaosing a map), and destructive play doesn't add much to map drop whereas eater quant altar and map dup altar helps a ton. Also the guardian maps are worth nothing right now.
There is one point you can spare on the atlas tree. Remove the two points below "Shaping the World" and go directly to the quantity wheel instead. I used it to block Smuggler Cache, I never pick up blueprints so... But if you have a better idea then please share it :) I am also going to test with strongoxes instead of shrines and ambush on map device. Also wonder if Vaal Temple would be interesting ? Edit: oh you cannot witness Vaal Temple :/
hello, its nice easy and funny using, have 2 question - what should be better using 1x escalation 3x multitude and idk if i should pick risk or conversion? 2nd do you think worth make elder influenced maps when its just t14/15 or just when its t16? thanks
I've just run 20 maps with 3x multitude, 1x escalation and 1x conversion and I only got 2 T17 back. It might just be bad luck, but I was wondering if there could be anything that I'm missing that could be breaking T17 drops?
The only thing i can think of is if you dont have four voidstones - but if you do, then its just bad luck. You can collect every map dropped and find 6.4% of that to see how many t17s you should have dropped
Hey! I've also tested the strategy, but I think something isn't lining up here.. I've got ~106 Maps and only 2 T17.. which could be unlucky.. but I don't think thats the case.. My guess would be, that all the extra Map drops from the bosses (often 2-3 per Map) screw the statistic as they a much more likely to drop Influenced Maps (which by default can't be T17s). Additionally what COULD happen, is that T17 get converted via the Conversion Scarrab, altho I'm not sure about that.. Either way I decided to move back to my old strat, as running Dunes/Beach is much faster than all these bad layouts. Also idk if Meaven is worth it, Eater gives 2x Map drops every now and than and Meaven isn't giving any chisels anyways...
This strat feels much more inconsistent then the previous t17 farm. It relies on good rolls from twist of fate in terms of modifiers AND actual map. Some maps take forever to run because its a shit layout. I go 10 maps only getting 2-6 maps per map, then maybe one map ill get 20 maps. Overall it feels worse simply due to the fact that it takes much longer to run random maps, rather then speed running strand or city square with mods you can pick with regex. I'll give this a 4/10 . not bad if you love running random map layouts
Youre still dropping tier 15 maps even with four voidstones, so shaping the skies gives those a higher chance to convert into tier 16s and then the voidstones give those a chance to convert into tier 17s
Hi, very interesting strategy. Why are you using the Anarchy option from the map device and not the free +quant one? Wouldn't that save you some chaos every time? Can't this one be modified by twist of fate?
Thanks for the answer. That's weird that it doesn't change with twist of fate, but I guess this is so that we can't dodge spending some chaos on the map device.
pobb.in/XlNJWJBCYgTN To deal with all map mods you need the mind drinker amulet anoint for the maps where you cant regen mana, and you need to switch to sibyls lament and the reflect pantheon for ele reflect - even then
Yes unfortunately, there is ways to get around certain map mods for example my build struggles with cannot recover/leech - in that case you can use blood of the karui flask and the end of flask effect will still heal you to full. And ele/phys reflect can be solved by using a sibyls lament + the reflect pantheon. But if your build struggles with a lot of mods that cant easily be circumvented then this isnt the strat for you, but a good one to keep in mind for your future builds that dont struggle with mods
Have you tested Singular Focus? We will likely get less T17s but instead we can get sellable t16 and / or favored maps with natural / scried div card drops Maybe this kind of tradeoff is worthy. Edit: well, nvm, since our map is random theres not much chance to obtain fav map if its not adjacent
@@BawLoch oh yeah sorry about that, I've been running it for 3 hrs now and I must say its working really good. I'm only using 1 escalation and 1 risk and the scarab that gives 40+ pack size. Its running great thanks!
to be honest this strat is kinda bait. Same setup and i get maybe 1x t17 per 10 maps done. I get like from 7 to 12 t16 maps on one map but only 1x t17 per 10 maps done
If youre getting 7 to 12 tier 16 maps per map then thats proof that it isnt bait - the wiki states that with four voidstones you have a 6.4% chance to have a tier 16 converted into a tier 17 - if youre averaging above 8 tier 16s per map which you said you are, then thats on track for above the odds i said in the video (1 tier 17 in every 2 maps) Youre just getting unlucky
@@BawLoch ahhh maybe thatas true but i made so far about 40 maps and its just drain my money cuz i dont get t17, of course i dont meant to be rude or attack you just looking for some answers, maybe im just unlucky
I've been looking for a t17 map farm strat and none of them have felt good until this one. Thank you!
One thing to note: Milkybk did test 2 multi 1 risk vs 3 multi and did get a better result with 2 multi 1 risk.

Note destructive play randomizes the map device selection as well, not worth paying for ambush
i dropped the shrines for ghost nodes, can be rippy but nice random juice around ur map and sometimes the boss's

why take shaping the skies, etc, if u have 4 void stones? They work only for t1-15, no?

just chisel/alch/vaal
@@BawLoch If I want to run only silo I should remove ToF right is anarchy still the mod device to do ?

I didn't get my first T17 with two multitudes until my 12th map.
Am i supposed to turn off favourite maps?
Yes
No, makes no difference for t17 drops, you can even run singular focus

You'll still end up with many sellable t16's its not like you turn off your favorite slots your still getting a large amount of your favorite map
With that amount of quantity and pack size it looks that harvest could be juicy
it's too slow.
