I was a Met Officer for 30 years. I worked alongside the finest and bravest people I ever met. I am so saddened to see years of hard work undone as the MPS focus only on diversity and forget its main purpose which is the prevention and detection of crime. Absolutely gutted!

I have been a patriot from a small boy in the fifties. The heroism of the people and those fighting in the wars made me so proud. Why why is it so wrong to love the English way of life.? A very good point Sir, all the media I've seen just politicised our day, I've not seen any coverage/footage of the traditional celebrations that many of us took part in. Every word you've spoken is what millions think just scared to speak..recently I received an email from NEXT..promoting their Eid collection of clothes. I wrote back saying how offensive that was, as I'm Christian and you've never sent me any other religions clothing. They rightly apologised and said they would look at their marketing..not holding my breath..
