So sad I liked Joey and Eileen not sure if I ever got used to Joey and kit but they were an OK couple I wonder how those who worked with Ray on another world are dealing with his death? What stories behind the scenes do they have about him .I read an article once and actress Victoria Wyndham who played Rachel years later said that she was walking the streets one day possibly in Manhattan and Ray called out her name apparently he never forgot about his castmates even years later that's just the type of person he was apparently besides the great another world he did two movies that I liked called something wild battle of Seattle as well as a movie called the comeback the latter is like a soap opera daytime fans will definitely love that one though his onscreen daughter is annoying as heck in that movie I hope that you guys can have the chance to check out those three films I especially like the former because it reminds me of all of the road trips that me and my family always took during the 1980s something wild definitely brings back such awsome memories but with gas prices skyrocketing and with the inflation those days are gone for good america is going downhill but thanks to that film I have all those very special memories all of those location scenes in that movie are awsome brings back such awsome awsome memories anyway I hope all you guys get a chance to check out those three films and stay safe and it's so sad that we have lost Ray along with so many of our bay city greats but look on the bright side Joey along with Mac iris plus all of the other another world actors and actresses are all having one big great bay city happy reunion as we speak nothing but hugs and kisses and dancing going on its a big another world party right now and they are all celebrating
@@jeffreyharnden7523 I can see Ray doing that with Victoria. He seemed like a very sweet man who never forgot his roots. I like that when stars who started on soaps don't forget and will say good things about their times on the soap or just come back for a visit, case in point Julianne Moore. She was on "ATWT" and she dropped in on Oakdale and the Hughes family, even though she was already in the movies and either won or nominated for the Oscar. This was great, especially for the fans. RIP Ray, you will be missed.😪🙏❤

Eddie, thank you for reuploading this cherished "Another World" full 90-minute episode! I so wished that Eileen and Joey could have had far more time than they had together as a married couple. Eileen and Joey were so sweet and thoughtful with each other and others as well. As for Rachel, I am surprised that she and Brian did not consider having a relationship and possible marriage.
always depresses me to recall Beverlee McKinsey injured her neck and was laid up/temp replaced during the peak Janice St Croix poison story line - it could have been even more epic! .
90 minutes of a daily soap really wasn't a good idea. Even Harding Lemay and his genius couldn't make it work. Always wondered how much damage this move did to AW over the long term. It never seemed to recover.
Harding Lemay as well cast members came apart at the seams seriously due to the expansion. HL wrote the scripts himself. His stories and his characters. Writing what amounted to 5 movies a week! Unaware of this at the time, I was in Heaven!
@@michaelrandall4862 Lemay was a brilliant writer. His downfall was his inability to pull together a writing staff who could help tell his stories the way he wanted/needed them to be told. Understandably, he burned out. What a shame.
I know the feeling of never recovering from something that's why I always felt a good connection to another world up until its ending in 1999 . It never recovered from its downfall and neither have I back in 1990
@@deh2775 Totally agree. I read his "Eight Years in Another World" memoir. It was clear he was a fantastic writer and pretty bad delegator. And you just can't fly solo on a soap. Even a 30-minute one. 90 minutes a day was insane. I can't remember if NBC or Proctor & Gamble were pushing for it, but what a great example of greed killing the very thing that was so successful.
I know what it's like 2 warn and tell people about evil people. I went through this in my highschool. I warned people about those evil sick twisted students no one believed me not even so called family members. They all thought that I was wrong. So rachel davis. Cory I know what your going through. That's why I feel such a strong connection 2 another world I can really relate 2 all the charecters of bay. City. I can definitely relate 2 the people of bay city.
I went through the same exact thing in High School. My mother not believe me as well many people in my family did not believe me either. When I watch a lot of the past episodes of Another World I see repeats of my past.
They still keep in touch with each other according to meave in an interview I only saw Kathleen work on both AW and ATWT but didn’t see her work on Ryan’s hope over on abc so I don’t know about her character on that show but like so many of her AW co stars Kathleen also comes from the theater she appeared in Eugene o Neil’s play Brighton beach memors I saw the movie version which was pretty good wish AW kept her on the show along with meave wish they would’ve stayed till the end of the show’s unfortunate finale back in 1999 then again AW should have never been canceled neither should’ve GL and ATWT the four remaining shows are all in the ratings toilet yet they get a million chances why not the great AW
