      Thanks for watching!
      If you can get a job here and are not bound by any commitments currently, then I think it's a great place to try living in!😉 It's not easy, but worth giving it a go.

      @@OurSwissAdventure I was paying a lower franchise for my health care thinking I might need it when I become pregnant not knowing pregnancy is covered even for higher franchise. I am planning to move to different Canton where the tax rates are high. So I am considering to change my health care to an affordable one.

      I see I see! I would say that it's only worth going for the lower franchise, if you know that you will definitely need a lot of medical appointments, scans, medications or will need a planned surgery. In all other cases it's best to go for the high franchise. And yes, as you said, the pregnancy is covered by all basic insurances no matter what franchise you have.👍

    Great tips! I would just add, after everything will settle down, you won’t really remember all the stress that was involved in the move. 😀

      True, thank you for the encouraging words! Also to add, the more time will pass, the more of a 'Switzerland master' you will feel.

    Hi, thanks for the video it's very helpful, I'm going to move to Switzerland in November, Neuchatel. A bit stressed I admit, but I hope everything is going to set up step by step. Could you share some impressions about the city? Do you guys enjoy living there? :)

    • @OurSwissAdventure
      @OurSwissAdventure  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! Everything will be okay, just need to keep calm and carry on, as they say. ;)
      We like it here. The city is quite small, but it has everything you need. The lakeside is beautiful and the forest is right above the city, so great for nature lovers! Unfortunately, Neuchatel is one of the worst cantons for taxes and the cost of health insurance, but then the rent is cheaper and it's easier to secure a flat here than in other cantons.
      Let me know if there's anything more specific that you'd like to know about. :)

      Haha, that's an interesting one. Maybe you need to move here to remove that stress then.😁👍
      But yes, visiting first is a good idea.
