You should be in jail man… Honestly? The GT 40 police chase… Yeah, I hope you get arrested for driving like that, and you sound like one cocky person who no one gives a s**t about.
I cannot wait until I see the day you get arrested or severely injured for driving the way you do, or the way your copilots do… you put not only yourselves, but you put other people in danger all the time.

Look into a Quickjack. I love mine. It's hydraulic. It lifts the whole car up 2 feet from the same points as the 2 post lift. It costs $1500, once. It can be moved around and stored in a garage and doesn't have you drilling into the garage floor to bolt it to concrete. The only weaknesses I've found versus a 2 post are are the height and it blocks a little bit of access at the sides - getting a transmission crossmember out/in is a little tricky but can be done.

Don’t cheap out on oil, you don’t need the exact brand that the manufacturer recommends (as long as it is of the exact same viscosity, with the same additives as the recommended oil), but make sure you buy quality oil.
The oil lubricants, cools and cleans (and operates hydraulic things like VVT systems, in some engines), cheap oil usually don’t do a good job at cleaning.

Total for the day with taxes was CAD$1250 which isn’t horrible. Ferrari guys at sale time DEMAND pristine records from the dealer network or it’s money off - which is part of the game so a few hundred extra to not get screwed over at sale time is worthwhile.

I know I've reported the broken pipe on 9W near Rio Vista multiple times and NJ will fix the hole, but the broken pipe means the hole comes back quickly. If an oil change is that expensive, just buy the lift and install it at your house. It doesn't take that many oil changes to pay for the lift. Then you can change the oil on your schedule with no wait.

He was right significantly felt more power which I didn’t expect my buddy did same to his 600 same results. Only $188? for a Ferrari. I was expecting much more. My F350 needs 15 quarts or 14.1 Liters of oil and I run stiction modifier so my Injectors stay nice. So roughly $120 just for the oil then I have 2 oil filters, lol. Injectors are run by oil so its extra important to maintain oil. So I also run Archoil stiction modifier which is $45. Oil Filters are $20 a piece. Every other change I replace both my fuel filters and coolant filter... So many filters. Very happy truck. Also have to religiously change your oil on time. You let your oil go to shit and your injectors will gladly destroy your engine for you. Still not sure how I feel about oil powered fuel injectors. More commonly known as Hydraulic Electronic Unit Injectors (HEUI).
Yes its a pain in the ass... I love the truck though. It works out I guess.

Rob - little landscaping 101. That area in between the front walk and the lattice under porch should be landscaped shrubbery and flowers, not grass. And it should wrap all the way around house by A/C units and to back patio. The bottom of your lattice will be green in no time from trimming, and honestly that is stuff you see on a 200k starter home with people cheaping out or not caring. You aint cheap ,you clearly care, and that aint a 200k house! Oh and if you really want to get fancy, you can peel a curved bed off the turn in the path right before the front steps and fade it into where the driveway is so both sides of the walk are landscaped. And then you can put nice lighting too!

You don't need a Ferrari to get screwed by dealer rates these days. My mom has a 20' Civic under warranty so she wants it serviced at the dealership. Fair enough. A 10k mile service for oil, oil filter, air filter, and a tire rotation plus a quick inspection ran me 275$. That is highway robbery when the parts cost 50$. It's an hour of work. I will not be taking my car back to the dealership for simple services again. Lesson learned.

Honestly, US$500-550 for an oil change by a Ferrari dealer is 'ok'. Try paying AU$2500 (US$1700) for an oil change. That's what Bentley used to charge here in Sydney... about 6 years ago. Rolls Royce is even more expensive. Speaking of Rolls, depending on where you live in Sydney, your RR might end up at a BMW dealer for service.

If they charged you an hr labor to put the bottom panel back on because it had less screws. The first hour should have cost less because there was less screws thus they got it done in less time. lol Be nice if it worked that way. Thanks for sharing!

If you can afford to own a Ferrari, then maintenance should be part of that ownership, whatever that cost may be. It is an interesting topic about escalating costs of exotic car ownership. I don't think it's worth it so I ride a bike and I'm a senior citizen. Those exotic cars are very attractive and I can enjoy them vicariously by following TH-cam channels. Owning them seems to be too much of a headache. I can't imagine owning such nice cars in NYC. The roads are crap and there are far too many criminals and scammers.
I'm truly happy for those who can afford such nice cars and I wish them the very best. I'm happy riding my bikes to stay in shape and I do my own maintenance which is very inexpensive.

I service my 458 myself and drive it frequently. I drilled 3 3" holes so I can get to the drains without removing the under pans. I have 3 black hole plugs that make it look like it came from the factory that way (as it should have). Dramatically reduced the time to change the oil.

Drilling those holes was a great idea. Submit that idea to Ferrari. Of course, it would be rejected as road crap would be getting into those holes unless you put duct tape over them and that would be sacrilege.
