Oh wow you are two packing it. Brilliant! That boat could go on forever doing it straight after plating.
Nice work
It feels like we’re watching a slow motion get-ready-with-me: Boat edition, with every video being the next step in the process 😅 it’s looking great!
Nice to see you both positive and smiling. Plating all around and epoxy on to bare metal probably adds more value than it costs do you think, I watched and was impressed by the welding! I have helped painting a narrow boat, which was done piece by piece over a year, much more work than you would imagine, but fun if you arrange a painting party! We went for several weekends,as did others, and basically worked for food (and booze)
Hi With the extra plating she will sit lower in the water ,so look out for your waste water outlets sink etc
Dear Chloe and Ryan
Ryan good to see you moving around, don't get too overly confident and reinjure the knee.
As for Ratae, she is looking really good. You appear to have got yourselves a good crew to work on her.
Looking forward to your next vlog.
Take care and look after yourselves

What about the bottom of the boat. It seems like you would have to re-plate it also.
good see the boat get done keep up the good vids on channel thanks four the good vids
Great vlog boats good for twenty years don't forget to put rust treatment before you put paint on or it will just peel off after 2 months keep up Great vlog
Brilliant, looks good.😊
I hope your leg heals quickly, do as the doctors say and rest up o it will take longer to heal. It will be well worth all the work in the end. Take care. X
Looks great. What did the welder say about the bottom of the boat?
You two are so positive! Really glad to see it's going well.... & your bathroom didn't catch fire! Does it make the boat much heavier? I hope you're back in the water soon!
Should name this channel, Problem Boat - Infinity!
Great looking job indeed. Certainly got peace of mind there. Best wishes. 🎉
You need to adjust his crutches up by 2 holes as he is really stooped over on them, it will save him more energy and take the pressure off his shoulders and protect his posture 🤗
i hope it turns out ok
Mill scale rather than mildew I think.
Methinks that you are correct.
Hi. That piece of steel down most of the length of the boat must of cost. ! How every good the welder is , did you walk the length of steel and check the welding for your selfs ???? It should be a smooth joining new and old steel
It's millscale not mildew 😂😂😂😂😂
I would try to do the painting your self it's all in the preperation boat painting if done by somone else can cost anything up to 12grand
That plating looks really well done, good job there. I think you'll get a shock when looking at painting prices your looking at 10-12K for a full paint job. If you look at John Barnard tutorials on youtube you can do it for a fraction of the price youselves. Bet you feel a lot more relieved now it's safe in the water :)
I'd not leave that rust untreated for a year - instead of just putting blue paint over it, treat the rust then undercoat it THEN finish colour. Function needs to come before aesthetics.
