- NUMA is a clever system for connecting multiple CPUs to an amount of computer memory. In this video you'll see what it does and why we use it.

Just love it . Clear, precise, factual. Narration is super.
Absolutely
This video deserves a lot more attention from the youtube computer science enthusiasts. Pure awesome content, simply delivered, loved it!
PS- I don't usually comment a lot, but this one deserves appreciation. :)
best simple explanation so far 👍

The best explanation, honestly the best
Given the number of people who find explanations like yours a God-send, I don't understand why more people don't take note. I'll attribute it to skill then - bravo sir, trying to find a good explanation that doesn't require a few months of studying was driving me nuts.
Thank you for your amazing explanation, you have a real talent!!!

❤
Great video! Thanks for being explaining it easily and quickly! The info graphic helped too
Super, crisp and directly to the point Thanks for this awesome video
Good video. It does a great job of answering the question posed by the title. There are obvious management issues (beyond the scope of this video) that have to be in operation in order to orchestrate the I/O of all these CPUs so that they work together as a unit. In this environment, you always have the situation where one CPU has finished its operation prior to the next CPU but this is a management feature common to all multi-threaded environments. Good video.
Excellent presentation, simply explained and exceptionally clear. Thank you very much!
Awesome Job explaining !! Pls have more videos coming...
Thanks from India!

Excellent explanations, I suggest you to talk about ''Parity Memory" as well in the next episodes! it's another concept to be understood for memory! Good luck.
That's a good idea, I will put that on the list. Thank you.

Does a CPU that have multiple cores count as 1 CPU in this case or not?
Well fank you sir for this great video, I love your fokin accent.
*NUMA*
My Brain: Numa Numa Yay! Numa Numa Yay! Numa Numa Numa Yay!
Quad-CPU Cache-Coherent NUMA. And no mention of Sequent?
Is this your real voice? 😦
Supp bro
You remind me of Buildzoid
damn your voice claps
I'm here from searching "Numa Numa" XD
Uniform is baseline
Non-uniform is controller type hierarchy and signal type
Pair of master-slave harddisk applied to CPU dual-core
Pair of sub-set dual-core applied to dual-core and GPU
Pair of sub-set dual-core with GPU applied doubled and assigned master-slave
Baseline of NUMA screwed to uniformity
Cache coherence type of NUMA used to double on coherence
Some people may have decided on flippin-brurger catch-all of one subset do CPU as master and the other catch GPU as master. 4 cores is boolean simplicity
Too simply but still a great video to view.
Bus is not a vehicle!
Came here after Linus' video (64 cores CPU and 2 NUMA nodes):

Great explanation, thanks ;)
haha, "These won't be Celerons...they'll be actually GOOD CPU's..." :::hides my Celeron sticker on my tower...:::
Im 13 so why the hell am I interested in this
Talk about voice not matching the face wow so funny
Voice and face don't go together. Voice is so mature, face is so childish. :D
hahaha
