For anyone interested, the robin DR400 used for the challenge is a French aircraft, very common in French flying clubs (more than the Cessna / Piper equivalents...). You can also find them in some European countries (Switzerland, Germany, UK, ...), albeit it doesn't have a FAA certificate (which is a shame for such an amazing plane...) Its airframe is made of wood and fabric, and it is propelled by a Lycoming engine (although the new ones can be fitted with a Diesel Centurion engine). Its performances are close to the C172's (stall speed around 50 kts in landing configuration, cruise speed between 100 and 120 kts depending on engine power, a L/D ratio of 10, MTOW between 900 and 1100, also depends on the engine) . One may note that the ASI is in kph (somewhat rare for nowadays airplanes) The aircraft is still in production nowadays in Dijon (Burgundy, France) , although it is now known as the DR401, a refitted version with a more modern conception (electric trim / flaps, diesel engine capable as said above, can be fitted with EFIS systems, ...) I actually fly this plane IRL, as I just got my PPL on it, and I'm glad that for the first time a Flight Sim implements it in base game. This can be explained as most of FS2020 has been developed by a French studio near Bordeaux, and AFAIK most of the developers actually registered for a PPL ... On this plane ! Its double-dihedral design makes it very stable and easy to fly, even in turbulent air (which I'm used to, 20kts crosswind is quite common in my place... ), thus making it a good plane for flight schools. Oh and by the way congratulations, this was the best Courchevel Landing Challenge I've seen on TH-cam so far, while some other would have destroyed the landing gear IRL... Being close to the nominal landing speed (115 kph - 62 kts with full flaps) helped!

4:26 - AirforceProud95, want to know why you scored so low? It tells you right there. The middle box on the left titled "Ground Roll" said your little swiggly wiggly landing couldn't keep it in the center of the runway. You almost got yourself a Deviation when you landed.
Very interesting airport. Landed there on TAT Twin Otter from Paris circa 1990. My dad and I were in the front of the airplane right behind the pilots. Wow, as a pilot with my Private ticket, that was quite the runway! Did some great skiing, too, w/ dad!

But your gameplay looks smooth and the game looks amazing, so if you can play MSFS on those specs, then I am more than confident the specs I want to get would destroy it. It's not TH-cam, it's the law. The performance, lyrics, and arrangement of music is subject to copyright. Don't get me wrong, the law itself is screwed up, but the alternative to ContentID and TH-cam Copyright Strikes is actual lawsuits each and every time. And believe me, individual TH-camrs won't win against corporate lawyers. All that said, yes TH-cam's copyright system is messed up, and so is international copyright law.

I have an older Thrustmaster 19000M, thing is a beast... very accurate since it isn't potentiometer based, but has hall effect sensors that don't wear out. It still has all the cheap ass trappings like somewhat shit buttons and pretty horrible rudder springs, but it is dirt cheap and has it where it counts.
The landing challenge should be the lowest score that still constitutes a valid landing
I think I got below 100,000 once. Basically just fell into the runway after a stall, somehow survived.

As a kid I used to ski on these slope and watch planes land there. This place is really gorgeous, and very well rendered in this impressive game.
