Whoever re-sleeved that cylinder the second time did a horrible job, how the hell did they break off the original cylinder skirt, before it got sent off you can see it had both skirts on either side when it came back with the new sleeve you can see where the skirt has snapped off, that will make the sleeve weaker plus I have a feeling that sleeve will start to move in that cylinder due to that, i may be wrong but damn I never seen out like that before, bike sounded crisp when started its just how long will it last

never done it on any 2 stroke rebuilds runs fine after still got a bike with 156 hours on it running like a champ no 1 problem didnt lube the cylinder but then again i run a litttle rich

I wouldn't send my engine to him, look after when put the cylinder on you can see a ring of dirt at the top of the cylinder and then he kicks it over and it sucked all the dirt down in there

Do you know how a 2-stroke works?, that maybe sounds a little harse, but its basicly sucking air in via the reeds wich feels like some sort of little compression. I think that is what he meant atleast.

I got a 1996 cr80 two stroke the Engine is all rebuilt but the electrical New spark plug uh everything is done but it still won’t run?

Make sure your getting spark, remove the spark plug put the plug wire on the plug. Ground bottom of plug to head of engine an kick it over if getting spark, put some two stroke mixed gas in spark plug hole an see if it will start. If it does your having fuel delivery problems. Need fuel, spark and compression to run.

no it wont the bore on a 80 is 52mm the 85 is 52.75 not much but theirs no room for error with bore messurments
