And FYI there are many cars that have a clutch that are automatic like bmw automated manual or vw's DSG
@@russianmusicgroup clutch pedal. Automatic trans have a linear "gearshift" knob. No beef.

Love the lineup, but Super Gramps is just the best.
I honestly agree, it looks killer, it makes plenty of power, and is actually functional as a daily if you wanted it to be. As much as I love minis and nissans super gramps just is too good.
That Honda Motocompo honestly sounds like my air compressor 😂
They are both probably 2.5hp :p
I know some air compressors use Honda engines, might be why XD
With near certainty I can say they are the same. Also from the 70’s still working. Honda is one of a few left independent engine manufacturers in the world. Spoiler alert; They also have a walking robot.
The Figaro is probably the most interesting thing in this whole video and i love it
I didn't even know they kept that thing. Totally thought it was only used for that gag before bringing out the real new car.
Each one of those cars on its face is not that interesting... It's only when you dig in and look at all the work that Marty did to make something like his little nugget into a four-wheel drive or all the work swapping super gramps drivetrain and making it reliable or the insane amount of work in the fair lady.... Then they become interesting.
Because of the effort that went into them, not just the car itself.
The Blue Turd will always be in our hearts..

You are dead right Moog... if it can change gears without user input, it IS an automatic.
It you don't have to depress a clutch and move a gear stick, it IS an automatic.
It does not require that a torque converter be present to be an automatic.
I mean technically by that logic sequential manuals like in rally cars that don't use a clutch pedal to eliminate inefficiency nor have a traditional pattern "gear stick" per say (you just flip through the gears) are automatics, never knew. There's a lot more types of transmissions than just "Automatic" and "Manual".

@@ClearComplexity You still need to use the clutch to get moving. That's the gear engagement type and not the actual type of shifting. On more basic versions you can still perform a bad shift (when RPM is too low or too high etc.) and damage something. An auto will never let you do that. A true sequential can't control the clutch and change gears for you. Every type of transmission can be simplified down to Auto and Manual, it's just a case of type (in this case, H-pattern manual or sequential manual)
So you dont depress a clutch in a dogbox or a a sequential...
Kosta The Ghosta when shifting a dogbox yes, but you do need the clutch to get going after a stop. Sequential doesn’t have anything to do with the type of engagement, it’s just the shift pattern but those are often dogboxes as well.

Marty's Evo 9 is actually my dream car, colour and everything. Definitely one of my favourite projects. Also TooSexy has the same engine (minus the turbo) as my current car. Loved that one as well. Keep up the good work guys!

@@OrrcoRacing It's elementary, dear Watson. There are three unregistered cars and one motorbike so they need a transporter anyway (they only have trailer hitches on two of those reggod' cars).
Important question is what are the 3 other cars in Japan excluding the super turbo

I love that so many of the "power" cars are at an achievable 300ish kw, not crazy 1000 hp whatevers, just very usable power

Moog - the series you did on the Golf R earlier in the year made me get my 7.5 R and I'm loving every day of it - the Golf R is my favourite car in the MCM Fleet!
I love how mighty car mods has evolved into this huge fleet of cars, making events and travelling the world. I’ve been watching these dudes since the drive way and it really makes me so happy to see them keep buying nuggets and adventuring together

Absolutely love this video and all the others on the process of making these cars what they are! All these cars have been built with passion and it really makes me happy to see what you guys have accomplished. I will definitely keep my eye out for the Yaris Hilton build as I own a yaris myself (His name is Yonathan) and wanna do lil bits and bobs to him. I wish you both all the best for 2020! AFAIK the car import laws in Aus are going to change "real soon now". The four cars in Japan are there waiting to become legal for importing and I assume Super Turbo is one of them.
I think the laws will change in december, just heard from somewhere(not necesarily correct )

It is sooo cool seeing the cars that you can get elsewhere. We don't have very many cool small cars. For years it has been about big V-8's, but nothing is as fun as making a slow car fast. They just have so much attitude. I drive an FR-S and my wife drives an STi. I just turbo'd my FR-S (Built engine, E85, full exhaust and AVO Turbo (Lee with AVO Turboworld Australia is the freaking man)). You guys have the best Car channel on the inter.. no best Car Channel on all forms of media and broadcast. Thank You for all that you do.
