This is what I needed, I bought a cheap matress and started to feel the springs in like 2 weeks, but a good matress is too expensive, so im buying one like the video
Hi we bought a medium firm sealey mattress to try and cure my morning back pain which is really bad when I get up. Unfortunately the mattress hasn't done anything to help so can you recommend a mattress topper that would help. Many thanks.
Hi Terry. If the mattress is too firm then a topper can help soften it. A topper will never firm up a bed that’s not supportive enough. If you can spend a bit more on your topper then natural fibres are the best. A deep goose down topper will add softens and can be shaken each month to help fluff it back up. Failing that deep micro fibre toppers can be a good option too. Hope that helps. John & Ryan.
@@JohnRyanbyDesignLtdWythenshawe Hi from Mexico! Ive watched almost all of your videos, appreciating so much that finally they bring clear light among all commercial and misleading jargon all over the web. After investigating a lot I confirmed that my 4 year old 18cm 20kg/m3 foam + 6 cm 40kg memory foam mattress was a bad choice and explains my back problems getting worse. I am clear that I need to change this mattress but was hopefull there was a way of partially improving my situation before I can afford to change it. Even though you mention a not supportive bed cant be improved with a topper my thought so far was to get a topper that lessens heat transfer to the memory foam, and thus, reducing how soft it gets (firming it up?). Another option I was thinking was to tear the mattress apart and replacing the memory foam layer with cool blue / gel layer. What do you think about this temporary options? Im not sure I can afford latex on any of them but considering it if I am forced to. Thank you so much for making this content available for consumers!
We've just got a new mattress, it leaves us with terrible back pain in the morning. Im guessing it's too firm? It wasn't cheap and we don't want to spend lots on getting a new one. What topper do you recommend please?
Hi CupcakeKate13, The best topper usually has natural fibres such as wool or goose down. However it does depend on your budget. Natural fibres are more breathable than say a microfibre polyester topper. So pick the best you can afford to help soften your too firm mattress. Sleep well. John & Ryan

Great to hear!
Insightful. Thank you. Just bought a mattress and its slightly too firm and I don't want to ruin my new one due to wear-and-tear
