Hi guys, thanks for this. Got an iPhone in December, kept saying waiting for activation and activation unsuccessful. Following your guide, I signed out of my iCloud, turned off iMessage and Facetime and restarted my phone. Everything is working properly now.

The issue was that my carrier said the new phone was activated- but it was not! Had to call my carrier and have them activate the new iPhone a second time and then it worked. Old phone stopped receiving calls and messages. New iPhone working.
Wow...I spent hours on phone with Carrier Support and Apple Support. They walked me through everything mentioned in the video except the Airplane Mode On/Off Switching. I saw your video and gave it a try...Voila!! iMessaging Activation fixed instantly, thank you.
I followed all those steps and it worked! Thank you both of you! Here are some tips: if you're using dual sim, try removing your secondary sim card, and make sure that your preferred phone number is turned on. Turn off iMessage toggle and turn it back on, and then wait for its activation. It may take up to 1 hour, so be patient. Hope this helps guys.
Mine didn’t work even after resetting network or resetting all settings. After months of trying, I got tired of it and just used my apple ID. But when I went to stay in a place with a 5G WIFI, mine activated instantly after connecting into the wifi. Hope others can fix theirs too coz it’s really frustrating.

I don't know if you can help: I've been using iPhones since first introduced in Canada in 2008, never had an issue connecting Messenger on iPhone with Messenger on iMac. Recently I went with a new carrier and now problems connecting Messengers to each other. My iPhone will message me every couple days to take the SIM crd out and re-insert it if I want to keep using the system. I had the SIM card replaced 5 times already and no one seems to know why. This problem has only started shortly after going to this new carrier. I've always used this provider for internet, wanted to switch my cell to same provider as it gives me a discounted price. I've also done all the step you outlined in this video in case. Messenger on my iMac (M1) is just dead - never had this before. My iPhone is XR software 15.5.
I had to buy a iPhone 4 for a business and it’s stuck at iOS 9.3.6 we’ve tried adding our additional 770 no it still doesn’t allow iMessage and it says no service where our business is at there is too much steel and so we had to get a free number so we tried to adding it to iMessage and it tried and it sent a code and it said an error occurred during the process please try again.

Here is a question, anything I can do to stop "Personal Hotspot" from dropping out when I am using it, especially over WiFi. It would appear if I am using my iPhone as a hotspot for my iPad over WiFi the connection drops out if I don't continually use it for a few minutes. There is no setting as to when it should disconnect, it appears it does this by default. It does not behave like this when connected to say a PC via USB. Any ideas guys.
But my problem is that something was wrong with my phone so I had to reset my settings and now this is popping up and I need to send a very important message to somebody. And when I try to toggle the iMessage switch I can’t even turn it on because when I try it says an error occurred during activation try again.

If anyone needs help, just let me know! This a pain for sure, and I finally fixed it. (Btw don’t trust those fake bots in the comments.) All you have to do is turn imessage off, turn FaceTime off next. Hold the power button and volume button until it prompts you to power off, and then hit cancel. Then after that, turn imessage back on and then turn FaceTime back on. Then click your phone number if it’s already not a check by it! Hopefully this fixes this problem for just like it did for me.

To be honest I had to review this video because I didn’t remember commenting on it, but yes as far as I can tell it works perfectly now. The one thing I can remember doing is I put their phone number in the iPhone section of my contacts instead of the mobile. Another option might be to a race the information from your contacts as long as you put it somewhere else and then put it back in.

7. Go back to (settings, FaceTime), and notice that it also says "verifying" in the phone box, with the number already displayed.
The end, you can go out now.
IMPORTANT DATA:
"This verification may take 24 hours", so it says on Apple's official website. In my case, I did not remember the exact time in which I did the verification to know if the 24-hour time had been completed, but I do know that, or it was completed, or it lacked at most 1 hour. Then I went to iMessage, it said still "verifying" and I tapped on that part, and then that's when I gave it back, as the verification was completed successfully.
OjO (If you are going to touch “verifying”, wait for the 24 hours to complete to do so.

did it work?

iphones are the shittest phones in the world. Androids are very much user friendly and lot easy to resolve the problems.
@@BarsitSiBSIVloGs mhm
Verymuch appreciated for the video
But in my humble opinion the sms app is a very frequently used app and the settings should be very much simple
any normal android phone or a simple feature phone which are lot lot cheaper never create such issues
But my paying several hyndred $$$ if we end up in such silly issue its a shame on Apple
Mine still isn’t working yet my wifi is working and Apple servers seem to have no issues. I haven’t updated to iOS 15 yet so I tried to go to software update but it gives me the ‘unable to find update’ error message ?? So I can’t even do that. No clue what’s going on ugh
I tried 4times but didn’t work :(I need help
samee, now could u fix it already? :(
Have you asked apple or your carrier?

This message is a translation with the Google translator, from Spanish to English. if you see errors in the text, that is the detail. In the original text in Spanish, it is perfectly understood. I hope I can help you.
After so many attempts, it worked for me as follows, I hope it works for you too.
1. Try to have the internet activated throughout the verification process, be it WiFi or data. If your mobile disconnects for a short time, try to connect it as quickly as possible.
2. You must have a balance on your phone number. This is because to activate FaceTime and iMessage, a cost is required. It is not very clear if the cost depends on the country, but in my case it was the equivalent of 0.069 US dollars. (Make sure you have iCloud activated with email).
3. Add your phone number to your Iphone. Go to (settings, my phone). There you add the number.
4. Add your phone number to your iCloud account. Go to (settings, choose the first box where it says "Apple ID, iCloud, etc. Then select where it says" Name, phones, email ") and in" phone "add the number.
5. After you have completed all of that, restart your phone.
6. Go to (settings, Messages, iMessage) note that the iMessage option is activated to the right, showing the green icon. Notice that before it said "verifying" but it only showed the email. Now you must click where it says "Send and receive", and observe that now it must say "verifying" in the part of the telephone number, showing the number you added previously, which is for which they will charge the equivalent of the aforementioned "0.069 dollars Americans ”. I got a new phone and when I was trying to text and call people it wouldn’t let me. I checked the settings and it’s saying “waiting for activation” or “verifying”. I’ve tried everything. My old phone which I transported everything there to my new phone, has been erased and nothing is on it anymore. What do I do???
Same
Did u figure it out???
If anyone needs help, just let me know! This a pain for sure, and I finally fixed it. (Btw don’t trust those fake bots in the comments.) All you have to do is turn imessage off, turn FaceTime off next. Hold the power button and volume button until it prompts you to power off, and then hit cancel. Then after that, turn imessage back on and then turn FaceTime back on. Then click your phone number if it’s already not a check by it! Hopefully this fixes this problem for just like it did for me.
When I press my on my phone number to verify it ,it then says verifying… is that normal and how long does it take
buying fckn thousand bucks phone to hear "turn it on and wait 10 minutes or probably 24 hours before it turns on"
EXACTLY
I don't get it, why is this even happening? it is frustrating. I still can't get this to work.
Same, Update me if yours get fixed
@@mayacamillee ok, so mine is working again back to normal. I think it really was a 24-48 hour wait till it gets fixed. I went to my iMessage app in settings and then there were 2 choices to pick for sending messages and before there weren't. so I took off my email and picked my number and all is fine now.
@@johnguillen68 okay thanks
@Johnny Quest: You could choosed both. In my case the email is working but on my number it was rolling and “Waiting for Activation” with no new thing up to date
@@mohammadezz3893 It got fixed on its own. I can't even tell you what I did to make it work. I think maybe just waiting for activation.
Ummm it says error
I was able to FaceTime with someone no problem, but I can’t seem to send them an instant message each time I do their name appears in red. What am I doing wrong?
did you get it to work?
To be honest I had to review this video because I didn’t remember commenting on it, but yes as far as I can tell it works perfectly now. The one thing I can remember doing is I put their phone number in the iPhone section of my contacts instead of the mobile. Another option might be to a race the information from your contacts as long as you put it somewhere else and then put it back in.
I did the turn of wifi think, and it was successful hahahaha
Mine still error activation 😭😭😭
turn ur wifi on and off while reinstalling it
The issue is it won’t turn on because it can’t activate...
Nope.... none of this works for me.
I already tried everything multiple times before I found your video.
I was hoping you had some miraculous solution but you’re just relaying all the usual stuff 🤷🏻♀️
did you get it to work?
I tried most of these and they haven't worked :(
I just got my new iPhone XS and my problem is I can’t activate the iMessage and it says they will charge to activate it and still it’s not working even though I press okay
How did you fix it
All these stuff didn’t work for me
