Ok, so as a massive fan of both slipknot and death metal, I've been sleeping on this band like nobody's business. Our boy Joey is flexing stupid hard with this band. I'm a convert.

I was drawn to the band by Joey and Fred,having listened to both their bands.But the music pulled me in,you have to like European metal to really understand Sinsaenum,since most of the band's members come from that background. They just rock,and the guitars blend so well with each other,and Hemouth and Joey are a solid pounding rhythm. I like the vocals,they sound better with two distinctive different sounds,and Sean has such perfect pitch.Most of the singers in these kind of bands can't sing for squat,but this guy has an awesome voice and a very good range. You have to leave behind bands like Slipknot(and yes,I am a huge fan!!)to make comparisons with this music.This band is Euro Black Metal,and it's a totally different genre. The songs are meant to be long and drawn out and the lyrics are very graphic.You have to sit still and listen to the whole album start to finish,and the intros are more Mayhem-ish,this is how a lot of their songs sound,with the intro and then your windows and ears are blasted out. I love everything of theirs to date,and the new stuff is excellent too. I hope they bring the tour to the States,that would be The show to see! Keep on rocking and banging,fellow metalheads!!😈👹

Well they're currently writing album #2 (might take a while as Joey's still tinkering around with Vimic too). Maybe they'll develop some more concrete lyrical themes and find stuff they actually want to sing about.

You take one of the most distinctive drummers in the world, and put him in music where his drums are drowned out by basic blast beats, and then you have this bland metal track. And then you let a 14 year old write your lyrics, which a vocalist who's actually quite good tries to his darndest to make sound good. And then perhaps the worst mistake is making a lyrics video... Not something I would draw attention t-... Jesus fuck, I take it back, the vocalist was clearly drunk when he got to the "I am nothing again" part. He sounds exactly like my dad used to do when he got home at 5 am on sunday mornings! "Buuhhhhhhh.... Where are my keeeeeeeyss..... I can't....... Give me more beeeeeeeeer....." Much love to Joey for not giving up though. Just wish he'd pick better project to show off his skill.
