    Manual says to add 7-10cc oil 😊. Thanks for the video! After 4 years mine needs replacing. Mine is clean but I can hear a little grinding when I let off the starter button. While I’m in there I’m replacing the bushings as well that the gear rides in.

    I usually add 6cc of transmission fluid down in the starter motor well as per the service guide. It will throw oil up on the Bendix during starting operation. It really cuts down on the starter squeal that can happen over time.

      Great tip! As always thanks for watching, Jared.

      You just put it in from the flywheel side with a syringe or something?

      How do you do that? Removed the starter and just put oil where the motor enter the case?

      @@doug_EX No. Take off the magnetor cover and then add 7cc of oil into starter/bendix well.

    Temporally i have a Bendix "quiek" on the xtrainer300 can you recommand oil helps on the Bendix before replacement?

      @3SeasRecreation  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good morning, sure. Oil would probably help prolong the bendix. During an engine rebuild we always add oil to the bendix. Not sure it will keep it from eventually failing but can give it longer life. Enjoy The Ride, Jared

    Did not clean nothing there.

      It was actually 10 times worse. I had taken it apart and cleaned it before I shot the video. The customer is well aware of the internals. During a 24 hour race last year it got submerged and they actually canceled the race after 7 hours...
