Meg is actually friends with BTS . she fought in court against her labe l for unsavory practices and so she could put out a remix of BTS song butter with them, she even sang her remix with them at their concert. she went through a lengthy court battle with BTS and their team supporting her to have the right to put out her new album and this song. her x label now wanted BTS team to pay 1000.000 which the label would keep for her to be able to release neva play. but she won against them . and now we get this masterpiece. and i believe megan is now able to do music the way she chooses. her x label had even told her that BTS attached to her name would ruin her image. im like these people dont know Armys. we support all 7 members always and we support those that are willing to throw away their prejudices and say lets work with them and see what we can create. BTS tends to make friends with all their colabs. they are just those kind of people.

The MV was shot only 10 days ago and RM is currently enlisted in the military, so that's the reason he couldn't be in the MV irl
They must have shot the MV after RM's enlistment to military, that's why he couldn't be in the video. RM I S A LITERAL BOSS! Honestly, he is the leader of BTS and one of the finest rappers out there. he has worked with Lil Nas, Erica Badu, Anderson Pak, Walle, and more amazing artists previously.

Megan was in a remix for BTS “Butter”. Megan even surprised BTS, meeting them in NY, which is where the first time she met them in person, I believe early 2021. The 3J’s, (Jimin, JHope, Jk) filmed a special choreographed dance from just Megan’s part from remix of “Butter”. Megan even appeared as surprise guest in 2021 at end of yr, during BTS 4 day PTD concert series performances since the pandemic, sold out 4 day PTD (Permission To Dance) concert performances at the SoFi stadium, in LA. You can even see the performance with her from one of the most well known fansite channels theultimatedodo who is known for filming some of the best quality Fancam footage of live performances from just about every BTS concert especially in the US over the yrs.
So for RM to perform on this track wasn’t a total surprise, though it was awhile coming. I find it continually amazing, all the content that was made by all of BTS, before most members, including RM entered the military at end of last yr, that are still be released continually though they are all in military still (except Jin who entered earlier so already out)! Also love how an animated RM was created since he’s not physically able to, nor is anyone allowed to create any new content while serving in military! But as Megan herself declared, we will be getting a different style rap from RM then we’ve heard. RM indeed is coming with yet another different style, without making a point of pronouncing English words so clearly as he did in past, with confidence, more relaxed delivery, with self assuredness, & pride to not feel the need to not only prove himself, but even better, declaring “for Asia, man we paved the way”! Which was indeed so awesome to hear, as well as being most accurate, correct & true! Though I’ve heard him show ability to do similar rap style in Korean way back, I just love that now he has a feel of self assuredness & confidence, as well as a sense of pride to speak up this way! It just make me all the more excited to see the difference, change, confidence & growth in all the members once they return after they all come back from military in June, 2025.️ 👍❤️🔥🔥🙏😍🤩🌟✨
5:10 we’d have loved to see RM I’m not the video but didn’t expect him to be as we all know he’s completing mandatory service in the South Korean military right now and this is one of several solo projects he cached before enlisting.

RM is a great rapper you should react to more of his solo music, he has a track with erykah badu (yes, that erykah badu) which is named after his favorite Korean painter called Yun and one with Little Simz called Domodachi from just a few months ago that is actually tri-lingual (English, Korean and japanese)

For those new to RM:
RM is a South Korean rapper born 1994 and he's currently doing his mandatory military service and will be back in June 2025.
Before RM started his military service in December 2023 he was really busy working on his latest solo album so that's probably why he didn't have time to be in this MV or he already left for the military before it was filmed.
RM's latest album, released in May 2024, a few months after he left, is called *'Right Place, Wrong Person'.*
If you wanna check out more from RM he released MV's to the songs 'Nuts', 'Domodachi' (feat. Little Simz), 'Groin', 'Lost' and 'Right People, Wrong Place' off his latest album.
The whole album is worth a listen though. Also featuring Moses Sumney.
The album was recognized as one of the best albums of the first half of the year 2024 by Rolling Stone, Billboard, The Associated Press, and NME.
Billboard wrote _"RM simply refuses to acknowledge the existence of any such boundaries over these 34 minutes, with 11 songs that careen from hip-hop to jazz to punk to R&B to Fela Kuti-styled Afrobeats - while all still sounding like a coherent and natural artistic extension of one man's creative vision"._
He also has two previous mixtapes *'RM'* released 2015 and *'Mono'* released in 2018 and another solo album called *'Indigo'* released in 2022 where he had features like Anderson Paak and Erykah Badu.
He's also recorded with Warren G, Wale, Tiger JK and Fall Out Boy before, just to name a few.
RM is a great songwriter so remember to *turn on the CC for English subtitles* when you check out his other work because he often switches between English and Korean.
His name is Kim Namjoon also often called Joon.
He went by the stage name Rap Monster before but now just RM.
He started out as an underground rapper when he was 13, was signed to Big Hit in 2010 and is the leader of the 7 member group BTS since their debut in 2013.
He is BTS main songwriter and writes for other artists too and has credits as songwriter on over 200 tracks.
*(all BTS member are involved in writing and producing their music and all 7 (3 rappers & 4 vocalists) have released their own solo projects as singles, mixtapes and albums. Their names are Jin, SUGA, j-hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook).
And BTS has gotten over 100 million views in under 24 hours, and always millions of views in a day on their music videos so don't be surprised that Neva Play gets views when you have both Meg and Joon on it.

All 7 members of BTS was enlisted in the military. Only one (that's Jin) completed his military around 2 months ago. J-Hope will be out in October. The rest including RM will be out mid-2025 or after.
