The mentality of a team starts with ownership and trickles down to the coaching staff and locker room. Jerry seems more interested in building the brand than building a championship culture and there seems to be a parallel in Micah's mentality.

It’s interesting that the double teams became a topic because look at guys like tj watt. He gets chipped yes but an offense can’t afford to double him and let high smith wreck the game. I think it depends. If he was with very winning franchises it would probably be better. But even so, if he was with the chiefs and they didn’t win a SB with him over those past years, I think people would be mad. Mainly because it’s his personality as well.

It’s not surface level at all. When you’re considered to be the GOAT or second GOAT TE of all time, and you’re on a dynasty winning super bowls and actually performing in the playoffs you can get away with A LOT more.
If the chiefs lost, he would have been RIPPED for his altercation with Reid. But they won. So it barely made headlines.
