Hey man, idk if you’ll see this comment on this video from 1/2 a yr ago, but I just wanted to say that I randomly stumbled upon your channel and love the content so far.
You’re a busy dude, but it’s cool to see how passionate you are about this real mechanic stuff. Good for you for finding a path that allowed you to open your own shop and do what you love!
Hey thanks for the watch and I sincerely appreciate the kind words.
Hope the swap goes smooth for you man! You got this!
Much appreciated! I may have to ask you a few questions in the near future!
Please please please keep doing videos!!!!! Your how to videos are some of the best out there!!!! I watch all of your videos religiously and it would be a massive loss to the 86 community for you to stop. I'm about to go buy all the merch you have right now!!!!
Eric. Thank you so much for your support. I just about spit out my dinner and fainted when I saw how big your order was. I can promise videos will not stop: I'm dedicated to 2 uploads a week, making the best and meaningful content I can, and going as hard on TH-cam as I can afford. I have my sights on that 100k subs TH-cam Play button to hang in our shop lobby!
Beams swap should be a piece of cake for you! Glad to finally see some CM Autohaus engine swap content! Keep up the great work and great videos!
You are too kind! And we already have had headaches appear during this swap haha!
@@CMAutohaus dude no matter how easy a swap should be, and how many times ive done a certain type of swap, something comes up. This was proven 3 times this year with 3 different swaps I did haha 😂
Keep it up! My swap would never be completed without your services and the products from battle garage. My main problems with this swap was a dead vvt exhaust solenoid and fuel issue. Didnt find that out until dyno day. Like most people, i had bouncing reading on the fuel pressure gauge. Cleaned the injectors and installed fuel pump relay wiring kit and my fuel pressure is always constant now.
Great tip on the relay kit and thank you for your continued support Joey!
Keep up the videos. Enjoy listening and learning from you, whether Corolla related or not.
Thanks for the support! Will do!
Love watching these! It feels like I’m in the shop with you.
Thanks for the love Alex! Late nights at the shop are both magical and exhausting!
Awesome. Im glad you’re not cutting the radiator support 👍🏼.
Me too!
Great informative video! Subscribed for sure!
Thanks for the support! Part 2 and 3 on the way!
Keep up the good work man!
Appreciate it!
Seems like the go to do it right price for a beams swap lingers around the 15k range for sure, currently swapping my gts. Hope to get panic harness and ecu after a long wait soon here.
I agree on that price range. Which actually shocked the hell out of my after doing budgeting with the owner. PANIC harness will not disappoint! But we could not afford the extended lead time to get the harness made.
love your content
Thanks for the support!
Best explanation of a swap I've heard to date 👍. Especially for the broke ass corolla community 🤣🤣
Thank you for the kind words. For the BEAMS swap being so popular, we are still constantly shocked on how little of the swap is actually documented.
Hi I swapped to beans and my gearbox is automatic and the big challenge for past 6 month my car doesn’t have rear and doesn’t change to any front gears but when I unplug the gear cable from ecu the rear works but still no change in front gear do u have any idea to help 🙏🏻?
SurFab make BEAMs swap high rise headers for either LHD or RHD
Only the top portion I think. You still have to fabricate the bottom part of the header.
What inches spacers? Diff its oem?
That's awesome. How about those headers from the 4age? Lol
Are you asking if you can modify 4age headers to fit a BEAMS?
@@CMAutohaus nah I know it would be hard, but what is the owner doing with them? Selling them or keeping them?
Who makes a j160 to 4age adapter?
SQ Engineering is the most popular
shop.battlegarage-rs.com/products/sq-gearbox-adapter-kit-4age-7a-to-j160-s-3sge-beams
CBY, LEEN both also make adapters.
How much is it for j160 rebuild?
You can contact the shop for a quote ezekiel@cmautohaus.com. But if you wanted the end of the video, transmission rebuilds are also one of those "it doesnt work like that" labor items.
We offer shorty headers 🤙🏽
I sincerely appreciate it, but some B to B constructive criticism: I have to dig through your social to even get a glimpse of what those headers look like (if I am looking at the right ones?) It also brings up a ton of questions: how do I buy, pay, lead times, ect.
There is a business analogy that states when a customer goes to pay you dont tell them to go across the street to swipe their credit card. Make it as easy as possible for your customer.
My advise: whether it be a webstore or TH-cam playlist. Make it as easy as possible for customers to see your products and services.
@@CMAutohaus Sorry should have been more specific with my post. We offer shorty headers but dont stock multiple units as of now, we fabricate headers per oder. but thank you for the constructive criticism I need to be mindful before I post anything. It’s a new business which is why we don’t have any site up and running yet.
@@akintegratedautowerks Key tips I had to learn the hard way. Get a proper website, make a Yelp page, and keep your social media business only. The first two items I did way too late and it seriously hurt the shop like past Oct/Nov
@@CMAutohaus man really appreciate that! I just checked my channel and the I have my personal IG on the link Instead of the business 😅. Anyways let me know about the headers. Thanks again!
shouldnt need to cut anything with a manual rack and subframe spacers.
Thanks for the tip! Yes I remember when I worked on the Corner Balanced car his pan was not modified.
